It's pretty dark between Germantown and Gaithersburg.
Anyone got the PEPCO phone number? (Typing from my BB)
To report outages to Pepco, call 1-877-737-2662.
I have no answer, however I saw this interesting link today:
North American Outage Maps
Many electric utility companies provide live customer outage maps on the web.
Public · Open Collaboration
I got this from their contact page:
To report outages
1-877-PEPCO-62
(1-877-737-2662)
To report downed wires and life-threatening emergencies
1-877-Pepco-62
(1-877-737-2662)
and press two
TTY 202-872-2369
We regret that we cannot respond to outages reported by e-mail. Also, please do not dial 911 for outage information or to report power outages.
. . .
I’m without power and phone service in NOVA but so far it looks like our county’s been relatively spared. Hopefully it isn’t too long before it’s restored. I have to wait ‘till the sun’s up to go outside for better cell service to call Dominion to report ours/get an update.
Thanks - now the want my account number to report outage !

I added this to Breaking in hopes you get an answer soon. I’ll remove it from breaking a little later. Good luck.
Thanks for the links! My first blackout with a blackberry
!
what is your SS #?
Can’t be, everyone here says it’s just a little rain. Try flipping the switch up and down, it’s probably faking.
Seriously, hope you all get your power back soon. It’s frustrating.
Point is, I’m not gonna dig thru a file cabinet in the dark to find an old pepco bill to file an outage call.
According to radio, including me, there’s 170,001 customers without power in DC area :)
You would think an address would do it
Without power, how do you contact them?
Very cool—thanks for posting that.
When in doubt remove bulb and insert finger.. :-)
They know who is out of power in this kind of case. I hope you are in the front end to get yours turned on, they won’t get started working on them until conditions slow down. Living in NC Florida that’s my memory of hurricanes, being out of power.
Go on, just for a second, I'm sure it's okay, really...
I’ve heard CONSTELLATION ENEGY stocks run around $36.00 and now CE in Maryland wants to merge or else they have no choice with some other company.
Would this be a good time to re-invest?
Maybe the stock will split?
