One guess is that for all the well-founded dislike of “career politicians”, some folks are uneasy supporting someone with zero political experience for the top office. I know it’s a selling point of his and I like pretty much everything he’s said, but I think some remain uncomfortable with putting him in the WH.

Cain could use a more aggressive marketing strategy, that’s pretty obvious to me. For most people, to hear him is to like him better than they expected. The trouble seems to me to be that this segment of people who have heard him is so small. If Cain had the budget of a Trump, everyone and his squirrel and cat would have heard Cain by the time most primaries had happened.
There was an extremely unflattering Newsweak/Time cover of her very recently.
I think a lot of people who said they were favoring Bachmann were waiting to see if Palin would jump in, and was the conservative who seemed like had the best chance to win. A lot of them have decided Perry is conservative enough, has more experience and is a stronger candidate.

Sarah is holding a Tea Party rally in Iowa this weekend in order to “make an announcement.”
My guess is that she will tell America that she will finally announce whether she will or won’t run on Sept 16 aka “US Constitution Day—first day of “US Constitution Week” and that what better time to not only launch her campaign to “Restore The Constitution” but to begin her quest to win the power to do so.

Vice-President
Governor
Senator
Representative
Cabinet Secretary

If the media had that much power we would never see a Republican elected president. They are strong, but not that strong. Get a grip. You know as well as I do that conservatives loath Romney, and the others are small time. That leaves Perry. There's nothing too complicated here.
He obviously can't raise money.
There is no doubt in my mind that the 2012 will be stolen and that Obama will be re-elected no matter WHO the Republicrats select .
