So that’s it then. The problem is with anyone who opposes sex with children.

Unbelievable. Just unbelievable.

The closing sentence “Sick to your stomach?” is exactly what I am. I had to scroll through it after a few paragraphs. These perverts should be locked up, not holding conferences.

Does not have any effect on the kids, look at the train wrecks that some child actor have become, Cory Feldman said Hollywood is run by gay pedophiles...

“Does not have any effect on the kids..”

I know several people who were sexually abused as children. No effect? It is the exact opposite. One woman had her issues with drug/alcohol abuse (she is sober now) all due to trying to dull the pain of her abuse. Another woman has attempted suicide twice... as a teen and a college student. Yes... she just couldn’t take the “flashback memories” anymore. Another woman has had a difficult time finding a good man. She has dated good men but she distances herself. She can’t let herself get close or fall in love. Why? She loved someone before and look how they hurt her. I pray for the victims of childhood abuse (physical, sexual and emotional) because they are damaged in a way. The idea that some “psychological group” is making all of this sound warm and fuzzy infuriates and sickens me at the same time.

We have a highly moralistic society that is not consistent with liberty.

This little tid-bit is completely inconsistent with the principles of liberty found in the writings of the founding fathers, and the books they used to research the principles of liberty. I don’t think I would be too far off the mark to list the Bible if not on top at least very close to the top of their research list.

At 6 (in the late 50’s) I was molested by a 14 year old girl. I’ve been married 5 times, lived with several women, and have never been able to really commit. My two brothers, on the other hand, have been married to the same women for 40 and 34 years. They have told me they were never interested in another woman. We were brought up in a Christian home, in church every Sunday. Of course, I have never been interested in a child. I would guess that pretty much sums up what it did to me. It does have a profound effect on the victims. The girl that molested me had been molested from a young age.
I have been happily married for the last 17 years, so I think I’ve finally gotten past it. At the time, and for many years, I didn’t think it had really affected me. But I now think that is what drove my relationships with women. So yes, I would have denied, as the article states. The victims don’t realize what a great effect it has. Look at our society and the promiscuity of our youts, as Rush would say.
Time to declare Jihad on these perverts who are corrupting our society.

Is it not possible to infer that those that advocate, probably engage? Unless the gubmint plans to legalize statutory rape, I suggest that some criminal investigations begin . . . yesterday.

Of course, under sharia law, these things are more than encouraged by Mohammad himself.

I am so happy that you have found your soul mate and married for the last 17 years. I think (personally, no data) that boys are equally molested in numbers the same as girls. However, our society tries to cover that up... While women can go to a therapist, state they survived such torment... is okay. Why do we cringe when it happens to a little boy? Are they suppose to somehow just recover without any lasting negative effects. Personally, I think if criminologists looked into juvenile crime, I think abuse would statistically pop up like red flags. If criminologists looked into other issues like “non commitment, substance abuse etc” I have the feeling that abuse would be overwhelmingly high in numbers.

Prayers for you TStro!

I feel like I’m living in an alternate reality. I cannot believe this is happening.

Since the day that my first child was born, I have always said that if someone touched them... I would do time. If our legal system starts to paint the abusers as “another lifestyle” and that they are the ones who are “victims of an ignorant society”... I have the feeling that many of them would simply disappear. The gators would be fat, happy and well fed.

Back in the 70s the gays and the pedophiles were working together to push their agenda. The gays split once they realized it was hurting their agenda.

The pedophiles have published plans showing they are using the same tactics as the gays.

If good people don’t want pedophiles to be normalized (aka legal) then we had better speak up.

I want them to push this. I REALLY want them to push this and drag the gay groups right down with them. Let everyone finall see what they’re all about.

This will be the straw that broke the camels back and a gift to the entire conservative movement. The backlash will be volcanic.

“... they are using the same tactics as the gays”.

They certainly are... “we were born this way”, “we are misunderstood and victims of bigotry and hated” etc... Same crap, different day. I personally think (or should I say hope and pray) that most people will not see it as a victimized group. Even those who say that “what homosexuals do in the privacy of their own bedrooms” won’t be able to approve of some man raping a three year old. At least that is what I hope.

Bullshyte.   What the Architects of the American Declaration of Independence thought about that is written in stone for all to see with their own eyes.

“anyone who opposes”

What about children who oppose being abused? Obviously the pervs, and their supporters, aren’t thinking of children as individual human beings who have the right to oppose abuse and expect help in opposing and stopping such abuse which is what criminalization helps to do.

Grrrr...First deny the unborn as human beings and abort them. Next deny children not only their right to a safe, innocent childhood, but deny children their humanity by decriminalizing criminal actions against them, that would make children no more then objects or property to be sold, traded and bartered by the insane. Decriminalizing such abuse is totally irrational, inhumane, immoral, insensible and insane.

How did the insane and delusional come into positions of power and influence? Where are the moral who will beat them back down to oblivion?
