The polls get manipulated to keep out teams like Boise State that have a chance to upset the old boy's club.

Boise St. could be any team on any given day. But so could Appalachian St., Eastern Carolina, etc. That's not in question nor is it the issue.

Boise St. will have to play a tougher schedule before they get the respect it seems you believe they deserve. They are an awesome team - but to be considered for a championship you gotta be awesome for more than one or two games. Maybe 8.

It’s good to hear from a college football fan who has a true perspective about big-time college football. While I am a fan of college football to the extent that I enjoy watching the game, I realize that I-A football is nothing more than minor league football that exists solely for the purpose of being feeder leagues for the NFL. I don’t understand why so many SEC fans get so wrapped up in it. You never hear of AAA baseball fans going on and on over who’s better, the International League or the Pacific Coast League. Spending so much emotional capital in amateur 20 year-old football players seems so pointless to me.

Well, I've watched BSU for quite some time and only a move to a major conference is going to help them.

Every big game BSU wins, the 'experts' always seem to come up with some excuse like 'trick plays' versus Oklahoma in the Fiesta or a hurt running back like the Oregon game.

Scheduling 'better' teams is a high priority for BSU however not many teams want to come to Boise.

I had heard at the time Norm Chou (sp?) was the Offensive Coordinator for the Tennesee Titans who was once with USC and was asked about playing Boise. He said no way would they play them.

I've watched them too - since they came to Ga a few years back. You could tell then that they were building up. I'm sure i've not watched them like you - but it's still easy to see the coaching talent and the athletic talent they have.

And you're right, it will be difficult to get big name teams to take on a Boise - but Boise is pushing in, if slowly. And a team doesn't have to be in a major conference - think Notre Dame in the 70s, 80s and 90s.

What they DO have to do is figure a way to play 5-6 top 20s. IMO they could compete in an SEC east. But the BCS won't take my word for it.

Anyway, Kellen Moore looked fantastic tonight again even if Georgia coaching sucked. They'll be getting a new set soon - regardless though, Boise looked good. Who else is on Boise's schedule this year?

Don’t drag my faith into any comment regarding that stuff pal. You have to be a Barner. $cam was caught pure and simple. A stupid NCAA rule allowed him to get off. USC, other get slapped. Barn got off on a stupid rule.

You didn’t offer your statements as opinion, you stated them as fact, which is a LIE. The NCAA has determined that Cecil Newton had inappropriate conversations with those connected to MSU. They have repeatedly said, at least to this point, that there is no proof that Cecil or Cam received any money from AU, or even MSU. You see that is something you bammers don’t have that we barners do, that is, the statements of an independent investigative body that has said there is no eveidence that AU has done anything wrong.

Okay barner. Sure. You keep believing that. If that is so, why is the NCAA and FBI still down in barner town sniffing around?
