(TPM) — Teamsters union president James Hoffa would say it all again if he could, he told TPM Monday.

Hoffa riled up Fox News and the right wing Monday with a Labor Day speech in Detroit in which he called Republican members of Congress “sons of bitches” and said union workers are ready to “go to war” with the tea party next year and “take out” Republicans at the ballot box.

Hoffa said he’d say the exact same words all over again.

“I would because I believe it,” he said. “They’ve declared war on us. We didn’t declare war on them, they declared war on us. We’re fighting back. The question is, who started the war?”

The hard truth is that both private and public sector unions, with their strong-arming tactics and Democrat support have done more harm to this country that any other group of people!

And they don't care if manufacturers move operations overseas to avoid unfair wage and benefit demands, they'll just sit at their union halls collecting welfare or Obamafare for 3 years or more.

Union members are pee-brained imbeciles, unwilling and unable to think or negotiate on their own behalf!

Normally, I'd say that declaring war on the people that (a) pay your salaries, and (b) own guns, isn't a smart idea.

In this case, it's a sign of weakness, not strength. The union way of life is not too big to fail. Despite Obama's best efforts, the next President could easily undo everything he's done for the unions. Without the safety blankey of the state to cover the union ass, they'll be exposed to the same economic realities the rest of America faces.

So, this is less about trumpeting the union's strengths, and more a sign of increasing desperation. Intimidation won't work, but Hoffa's toolbag is increasingly limited.

Business cannot do business in this country because of the high cost of labor; labor costs being out of control due to collective bargaining of benefits which far outstrip the ability for the business to afford. hoffa is a thug.

Good post. I agree. I and many I know have ramped up considerably in the weapons department. I am certain many patriots across the country have done the right thing since 08. We will NOT let our Republic be destroyed.

We don't have to warn the left that they will lose if they bring our Republic to the end point. If they think they can use the last "box" to defeat us they are delusional. God forbid we should reach that point, then I pray our side shows no mercy.

The coming struggle is going to be very long and very bloody Sand...We have been stocking up on food, guns, Class V, ever since the election and have been preparing. In fact the newest iteration is called the "Prepper movement" When the war starts that will run out and overnight we will look just like North Korea...well the blue cities will... The red states will not be in such a giving mood when the demands for the "last handout" begins...

Do I or any patriot want to see this endgame come to pass?? NO! But I will show anyone that will listen all the apocalyptic talk and class war rhetoric employed by the one and his team. THEY, want it and if they bring it...we shall give them the 4 horseman and divine retribution....
