As thousands of Americans gather across the country for tearful ceremonies to remember the nearly 3,000 killed in the Sept. 11 terror attacks ten years ago today, Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad marked the anniversary by repeating the conspiracy theory that the attacks were orchestrated by the U.S. as a pretext for war. "The September 11 [attacks] were actually a planned game to provoke the human community's sentiments and find an excuse for launching attack on Muslim regions and occupying Iraq and Afghanistan, which led to the massacre of one million innocent people," Ahmadinejad said today according to Iranian press reports.

Then, isn’t he calling the dead OBL a liar as well as insulting the terrorists.
Certainly this should call for a bounty on his head by terrorist groups for being a denier?

So A-jad has something in common with the Paulbots and Alex Jones.

Darn. I thought (via the headline) that the USA was planning to attack Iran.
Given that Iran has been responsible for so much leading up to and possibly including 9/11, that would have been a just operation.

Hey, many paulbots agree with this sort of thing. Gaggles of them are still “searching for the truth” about 9-11. I would love an upcoming debate moderator to ask Ron Paul directly whether he thinks there is a 9-11 government cover-up like so many of his supporters do.
To: Longbow1969
Oh, I know.
Shhh... don’t anger the Paulbots ... they will show up to call you a FRAUD!

This drivel is mostly for consumption by Iranian and other middle eastern Muslims who actually believe this nonsense - or want to believe it. As for the U.S.-based loons who buy into the '9-11 was an inside job' fantasy, well they are simply delusional. If libertarian (and nominal Republican) Representative Dr. Ron Paul entertains such easily-disproved insanity, he forfeits any claim to be taken seriously. Oh, and somebody should tell crazy Ahmadinejad that the late Osama bin Laden was in on it, too - and it got him killed.

Hillary Clinton set all this 'inside job' insanity into motion when she took to the Senate floor with her New York newspaper asking the question ..."What did Bush know and when did he know it"... Liberal MO... Hillary Clinton birthed the 'truthers'.

What comes to my mind when I think about Iranian expansion is Hezbollah, IRCS, support of terrorism, and a staunch opposing view towards America. Ahmedinijad is easily one of the more pressing threats America faces for the near to midterm as Iran expands its presence in Ecuador, Venezuela, and Cuba.
