WASHINGTON President Obama anticipated Republican resistance to his jobs program, but he is now meeting increasing pushback from his own party. Many Congressional Democrats, smarting from the fallout over the 2009 stimulus bill, say there is little chance they will be able to support the bill as a single entity, citing an array of elements they cannot abide.

Unexpected.
Can I say, “That’s all she wrote.” yet? Can I write it?
They have a decision to make. Support O’losers bill, in total, or get defeated in the next election. Not a tough choice.
You know, one could almost get the feeling that he’s ASKING to get Primaried. LOL
Yesterday’s defeats have them running scared.
The savior of the democrat party. LOL!
I have said for months that I am not supporting a repeal of tax cuts for the oil industry unless there are other industries that contribute, said Senator Mary L. Landrieu of Louisiana.
Feeling some heat.
But, but...........Debbie Wasserman-Schultz said that New York’s 9th district is a very tough district for Democrats. They expected a tough race.
Turner is the first Republican elected from that district since 1921, I believe? So you figure that Republicans have won there in the past, so Wasserman-Schultz knew she couldn’t take that district for granted.
I thought the entire last week was stupid for Obama, but going all-in on a massive spending bill was political suicide.
Fixed it. Obummer is toast.
You know, it seems he’s doing this on purpose almost.
Maybe somebody in the WH is losing it besides him?
I serious doubt if many other Freepers enjoyed the Cosby Show spin off of “Different World”. It advanced some of Bill Cosby’s more left leaning spin. But it also had it moments of brilliance. One of those was when two characters were debating the relevance of prayer.
It came down to one character telling a story about asking for fluff for Christmas and getting a coat instead. The coat protected him from getting a terrible strain of flu going around that winter(yes I know and I did not write the episode). The conclusion that he drew for his friend who was doubting the relevance of prayer was that sometimes God gives you what you need instead of what you want.
I think that 2008 was a prime illustration of God giving us what we really needed, obama. A lot of people are starting to the see the light in ways that we never imagined, even young people, Jewish people. Folks, we may have the greatest rise of conservatism that we will witness in our lifetime unfolding right now. He is bitter medicine...but perhaps what we “really needed”.
I agree. As much as I detest Obama, I think we would be worse off if McCain had won. At least this way the contagion is being dealt with.
BO, Pelosi, Reid, etc. have shown Americans what liberals in total control will do to the country. Hopefully, they are wiped out for a couple of generations.
