That’s a good question. What is the theoretical drop dead date where she has to declare or forget about running, except as a write-in?

Absolutely beyond me the hatred being shown here for one of the greatest voices the Republican Party has ever had.

I agree and it is very shameful to have all these Freepers taking potshots and parroting the same old lamestream media talking points from the anonymity of their Freeper handles. It is obviously an orchestrated smear campaign, to what purpose, I don't know. But I do not consider them true conservatives and months from now, we'll be able to look at these old threads and maybe ask some of them (if they are still around) to account for themselves.

With regard to Palin, there is no "tease" going on here. She has stated consistently all along that she will need to make an announcement either way in the September/October timeframe. She acknowledged on Fox News the other night (Hannity) that she is aware that some of the deadlines to get herself on the ballot in certain states are approaching and that she will need to decide soon.

Until filing deadlines start to be missed, there is no cause for concern or snarky comments. As for the debates that Palin is missing, she's not missing much. So far all we've seen are debates moderated by some left-wing media talking heads with a lot of dopey questions (intended to make conservatives look bad) and occasional bursts of insanity by Ron Paul. Nobody is going to remember these silly debates when we get down to serious business early next year.

On the one hand, her dithering is off-putting.

The MSM is trying to make it that way. If she were to have come out this summer, she would have spent all her time dealing with trivial attacks plus that crap the Joe McGinnis wrote. Let her wait it out, let the other weaker candidates drop out and when she gets in, with the limited time left, she can deal with the real issues instead of the MSM personal attacks.

I was really getting annoyed with her not announcing but I'm realizing this is all what the MSM wants. They want to take the focus off of Obama badly.

Rick Perry is pert near a perfect husband, as well as in everything else he does, and noticed that his wife was really whipped from housework.

Their domestic staff had left for the Thinko de Mayo celebrations in Nuevo Laredo ... so he decided to wash his own clothing, particularly his lucky sweatshirt.

He was planning to go to the football game and wanted to be able to remember who to root for.

Seconds after he stepped into the laundry room, he shouted to his wife, “What setting do I use on the washing machine?”

It depends,” she replied. “What does it say on your shirt?”

He yelled back, “TEXAS A&M”.

I heard OBOZO didn't declare his POTUS candidacy until January of 2008... So why can't Sarah do the same thing?

Remember when Sarah joined Juan McCain in late August 2008? LOOK at all the HATE that came from the media within 65 days of the election??

I think Palin should not announce as LONG as she can. This way, she keeps the filthy, mentally ill, rabid media chained to their feces.

If she runs she gets a check for $20.12 from me as soon as I know where to send it. There will likely be many more than mine. The MSM is trying to pick the GOP canidate who they will oppose from the start.

Hate to have to burst your bubble, but I was hooked on Palin from the days when she first came on the national stage. Palin was the only sweetener able to overpower the bitter mclame pill. After the 2008 election, I made my own Palin bumpersticker by trimming off mclame.

Regarding “she looked radiant”, yes she did, BEFORE Hannity forced her into the corner and it was quite clear she was uncomfortable with having to focus on that issue.

When it became obvious Palin would probably not run and Perry joined in, he clearly was the best one actually running and with the moxy to de-thrown Mutt from a nobama-like coronation.

If Palin jumps in before its too late, in a practical sense, I will judge her ability then. In the interim, supporting Perry does not detract from Palin.

I do not think she will say YES, this go round. Best would be her and Perry teaming up, either way Palin/Perry or Perry/Palin.

You heard wrong. Obama declared his candidacy in February, 2007, about two weeks after Hillary announced.

Among the Republicans, all of the major contenders (McCain, Romney, Huckabee, Giuliani, Paul, Hunter) had announced by February, 2007.

I don’t hate Sarah Palin..I most certainly like Sarah Palin and her wonderful family. I do not like her as a Republican candidate for President, that is all.

Well that is not the first or the last time I have heard something wrong. LOL!

If PALIN plans on running, I still think it is wise to keep out of the Fish Bowl as long as you can. I do think she will announce “in or out” by Sept 30th.

I neither like Perry or Romney, both are plastic and have we not been down this “RINO ROAD”so many times? If Palin doesn't run, my heart will broken. I honestly believe SHE is the only one who can beat that impostor in the WH.

The one person who is most feared by the RATS, RINOS and ESTABLISHMENT is SARAH. This is the proof, Palin is the CHANGE America needs.

Then you have no need to be up in arms about the people that do.

They also have to fit in a certain amount of space, as most USAToday stories are not allowed to break across pages.

I think she’s running, but I’m not sure she is running as a Republican. That might explain her comment to Hannity that this is going to be an unconventional election.
