Yes....Perry is coming across as a dolt.

That's because he is a dolt.

Perry needs to get real on his immigration issue. That alone will cause me not to vote for him in the primary. However I will vote for the republican nomination whom ever it is over Obama. We can’t afford another term with him!!

HERMAN CAIN WON THIS FOX-GOOGLE DEBATE HANDS DOWN. HE REALLY CONNECTED ON SO MANY LEVELS.

I agree with you 100%!

True, we could slow down the process but at what cost? My solution for years has been to invade Mexico and throw out the government. Then, give them a copy of our Constitution and say “use this document like we did at our founding, not today.” It would take about a week a cost a lot less.

Perry is embarassing himself....we need someone who can debate Obama....

You mean like a man or woman who have been campaigning for 5 years? How about someone who's been giving speeches for years, or someone who has been in politics forever?

Nope Perry isn't great at debates yet but he's the only one up there that is currently working a real job instead of just campaigning and practing for years.

Whether I like it or not, the winners IMHO thus far are Cain & Romney. Losers are Perry and Bachmann. Newt and Santorum do better than most give them credit. Huntsman has been more tolerable this time, but is still intolerable. Johnson is one and done. Ron Paul remains half-genius and half-madman.

sorry for the confusion...my bad... let me try it again... "The Texas law makes no mention of illegal aliens or those applying for citizenship, which is done in their home country. We have 4 million intending legal aliens who have gone thru all of the background checks and physical exams and are awaiting their turn to enter this country overseas legally. Why should anyone who entered illegally get to the head of the line?

not quite... Under the law, any student who has lived in Texas at least three years and graduated from a Texas high school qualifies for in-state tuition. The law also requires noncitizens to apply for citizenship.

Absolutely. But wasting money on fence that will be breeched and will probably be built by illegals themselves isn’t the answer.

If the feds are not going to do their job, then yes, let the states have a go at dealing with it. Texas, Arizona, they are stuck with the problem. Not for voters in other states to dictate to Texas and Arizona when we elect federal politicos who do nothing.

Bachmann’s continuous implications that Perry mandated the vaccine because of getting money from Merck is tiresome and insulting.

It is tiresome and insulting, isn't it???

I mean, it's not like his former chief of staff was a Merck lobbyist who donated a bunch of money to him, right?

And it's nothing like his current chief of staff at the time was the Texas head of a group that Merck created to lobby for Gardasil mandates.

And of course, he didn't meet with Merck on the day of the signing of the executive order.

And it would be ludicrous to think that he would accept a $5k contribution on that SAME DAY.

See? Nothing to see there at all. I can't imagine why people keep mentioning it. /s

I’m not liking Perry and Romney is not good either. Though both are far better than our current failed President.

Romney’s advantage is that the little primary voters have heard of him, and they aren’t familiar with Perry and many of the others. They stick with familiar names.
