Glenn Becks Internet television network launched on September 12 already has surpassed the cable network of Oprah Winfrey and the cable show of Keith Olbermann. Unlike Oprah and Olbermann fans, the people who watch Glenn Becks GBTV have to pony up a subscription fee.

how is the show as I’m thinking of getting it but did not like how he wants your credit card details for a two week promotion viewing.?
I don’t know, as I’m not subscribed yet.

Repeat customers tell you that you’re doing something right. Times are tough but I’ll spring for another month. For 4.95 it’s worth it. His Restoring Courage event in Israel was excellent. Knowing that money is going to him instead of the MSM makes it even better.

What was he proselytizing?
UM... Religion?
What do I win?
Similar to what he does on radio, or something different?
Hehehehe. I love it.
On Thursday, Sept 29th, he did an episode on radical islam in the US. Hizbut Tahrir (sorry, spelling isn’t right) held a convention at the Double Tree hotel outside Chicago last summer. HE ENCOURAGED people to sign up for the 14 day free trial to watch this show, and then cancel if you want. Of course you can still watch it in the archives.
I signed up and so far I think its well worth the money.
Me too. Even bought a Roku so I can watch it on tv.
Similar, but it seems a bit more desparate on the TV.
My wife enrolled the other week. She loved his show but now is willing to pay for the subscription. She thinks “opra” is just silly.
So... he’s not proselytizing, he’s talking about how we as a country have lost our values, yes, even our God-given responsibilities to be moral and courageous.
Too bad you were turned off by it.
It’s good to see that others are not, because we are in deep doo doo. God speed to Glenn Beck. I repeat, God speed!!
BTW, were you turned off by it because you know Beck is a Mormon, or was it something more general?
I would Like Beck to have his own Cable network like Oprah has—A Blaze station that would have the news of the right 24-7. Now that would be great—a Tea Party Network.
I think it’s coming...
“BTW, were you turned off by it because you know Beck is a Mormon, or was it something more general?”
I have no problem with Mormons or religion. I have always liked Glenn Beck. I even traveled to DC on 9/28 to see his presentation there.
I’m just sick to death of listening to Beck preach. He’s repeating what he has said thousands of times before. When he is presenting historical fact and analysis, he is extraordinary. When he does sarcasm and comedy, he is hilarious. His radio gloat session after the last election was one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen. When he preaches, it is pure repetition. The three shows I watched had more preaching and less information.
I can listen to his radio show because Stu and Pat keep it light (usually).
