A classic example.
I haven't heard anything from the Protest Warriors in a long time but then there really hasn't been anything big like this to protest. They probably need time to get back into organization mode.
Perfect! I love it!
Negative.
Doing so would lend legitimacy to a bunch of lazy anarchists.
I would suggest infiltrating these rallies in an effort to identify and recruit new TEA Party members. Find the cream of the crop and convert them away from the Dark Side.
Let’s not blur the lines between good and evil.
Dexia got more.

Very good rant by that young man. Thanks for posting.
DEFUND socialist collectives, foreign and domestic.
He sounds fine until he says “all we export are bombs and tanks” or some such nonsense. Our #1 export is commercial aircraft (Boeing) and #2 is entertainment (Hollywood films, TV). Rest is flawed but understandable. But the main thing is that he does NOT fit the rest of the Millennial malcontents - who cannot come up with a coherent statement if their lives depended on it.
More on Dexia from zerohedge this weekend...

DISAGREE 100%. This rabble is organized and funded by the FAR left - Van Jones and Soros groups, SEIU, AFSCME, AFT, AFL-CIO, MoveOn, Tides - and backed by Obama and the DNC. Why would you want to make Americans believe they were reasonable and conservative, and attract them to the nefarious faux-'movement' which was created by Marxists?
Thx for the links! :-)
Yes, the Federal Reserve needs to be abolished..but the path to doing that is unclear to me. If the Federal Reserve ends tomorrow, what are the impacts, what, if anything takes it’s place?
I admit I am no financial expert or authority on banking matters...I am all ears on proposed solutions.
Paulistas trying to crash the Occupy protests just like they crash the straw polls.
To respond: your question is a "when did you stop beating your wife?" question.
Let's unpack your assumptions.
The FRB loan to Dexia was not "recent" but took place over three years ago. The loan was not made to the Belgian parent, but its American subsidiary. Its American subsidiary was in the business of making federally guaranteed student loans, so the Fed had a choice of either letting the American subsidiary fail and having the entire loan portfolio become the responsibility of the federal guarantors or making a loan a fraction of the size of the portfolio to shore it up.
So the Fed made a loan to the subsidiary on the condition that Dexia sell the subsidiary to an American company.
Dexia took the loan and then sold the subsidiary for a substantial loss a few weeks later to Assured Guaranty, an American company.
So the Dexia in the headlines recently (and by "recently" I mean in the past few weeks) does not owe the Fed money and the Fed has not loaned money to the existing Dexia.
Nice try. None of the funds described in the article come from the Fed.
Occupywallst.org is a pretty dang fun place to begin. The comments have already been invaded by our ilk...so I suggest we pile on. I'm going to be in stealth mode, personally.
I have no doubt the hard left is behind this and it will get ugly. I have no doubt that Obama is involved and that we will soon see what he has up his sleeve. That said...90% of these dopes are just that: Dopes. Mostly young, naive students, people under 30 that have huge student loan debt and think they are too good to take 1 shift at Target, then 1 shift at a restaurant until they can get a better gig.
I honestly believe that more than 1/2 of these dopes ONLY real concern/demand/wish upon a star....is that their student loan debt be wiped clean. Little cry babies that feel insulted that they were not given a $90,000 dollar job the month after graduation (with a “studies” major)!
Honestly...look at most of them...they are freaked out by the loan obligations. I'm going to spread the word on that forum that Mr. O pushed the bill through where the fed credit collectors now can call CELL phones to harass them about their payments on these loans THAT CAN NOT BE INCLUDED IN A BANKRUPTCY.
Yep...that is the little ray of sunshine I'm going to work into my posts.
Occupy Wall Street lacks any sort of organization such as SDS or the Weathermen(persons?) had. Should a few like this coalesce into something focused, then you have the makings of a real revolution.
Let's hope he has to go back to work on Monday.
Wonder if the Protest Warriors are still active. They use to crash leftist protest and get in media shots. Their slogan I believe was fighting the Left by doing it Right.
