Ack, can’t get the math right. Too many burritos for lunch.

Republicans gave the O a $2400B slush fund (aka “raised debt limit”); he needs only give that out in a way wherein 0.042% of it gets donated back to his re-election campaign.
Instant $1B campaign cash.

Somewhere, someone suggested each Cain supporter donate $9.99.

In terms of fundraising, I don't feel a bit sorry for Cain and I don't have any contempt for Romney either. Running for president is hard work requires a lot of money. It's big business, not small business.

There is no excuse for such poor fundraising. Even Michele Bachmann raised $4 million this last quarter.

If Cain thinks fundraising is a challenge, he needs to keep in mind that running the country is the BIGGEST business of all. Cain has a small business mentality and he desperately needs to upgrade it.

You could send him $9.99

Try $999.

$9.99 isn't going to cut it this late in the game.

You’d be right....IF debates were the only forum available to him. You’ll note that I mentioned them as an example. Look at all the Internet news outlets, discussion forums (like, well, this one), talk radio, Fox News, social media (HUGE)...there are more outlets for Conservative discussion and general public exposure than ever before.

Again, I’m not trying to be naive here in the least; I’m making the point that millions upon millions required to get your name and message out are simply no longer required.

Yes, the internet can be a great tool — but not everyone uses the internet like we do here at FR.

Many morons out there have no idea how to use it. Many older folks don’t get on it. My MIL comes to mind ...gets all her news from her liberal hometown paper and Newsweek.

We have friends who watch SNL and get their political news from such shows — and it’s totally frustrating.
