RE: Wouldn’t it be great to see someone like Cain take the whole thing for only a couple of million without the hundreds of millions from lobbyists

A very lovely thought... but not realistic at all.

My wife is pregnant and diabetic. I have expenses here on the farm. I have less than $400 to my name, and that is for food/gas/emergencies.....one of those emergencies is sending Herman Cain $9.99

This drew a chuckle, then a prayer for your wife, unborn child, and a blessed harvest. The Lord be with you and yours, bro!

Good for you! I sent him a donation last week. Everyone who desires a true conservative in the White House had better start donating or we may end up with Romney.

Why, it came from the Republicans, of course. They gave him a $2.4T slush fund, remember?

You really think that if something bad come from Cain vetting people will stick to him because no one is left? What is no one left mean? They can easily leave him and go back to Perry or may be Gingrich the same way some people left Perry and went to other candidates. Have you seen the polls from 2008 primaries? Seriously take a look and let me know where did the person who won the vast majority of the polls from January 30 2007 till January 6 2008 end up? Yes that was Giuliani. How about the 2008 nominee McCain? His campaign was pronounced dead by everyone in the fall of 2007 and up to few days before the first vote was cast in the primaries.

Anyway, time will tell but the important thing is that no one has it in the bag yet not even close.

I realize it’s the repetitions they believe that make a difference. That might work for someone undecided. People want real change. Not Obozo’s snake oil reminiscent of a medicine show.

They’re tired of politicians and the perpetual barrage of campaign materials.

I wish I could forget. Nigthmares. The Beltway Repubs are useless, compromising pansies who would rather “be one of the boys” rather than fight and preserve all that is America.

I’m a $20 monthly donor.

My daughter donates $10 a month. (She’s a full-time college working a part-time minimum wage job.)

My husband donates $9.99 a month.

My son is about to start a new job, then he’ll probably add $9.99 a month to the pile. (18 year old who just graduated two weeks ago. Currently broke, delivering pizzas a few nights a week. Will have a full-time minimum wage job soon.)

So that’s almost $50 a month from one family and nobody’s rich here.

THAT is how we’re gonna beat ‘em! :)

I think that his best bet would be a really good website that explains 999 in detail. (Like the FairTax website)

So many people have questions about the details and the answers aren’t out there.

With the DVR, many people aren’t watching commercials anyway. He’d get more traction with a viral video on YouTube that could be passed around.

Dang, Cain sure knows how to stretch a buck. He sure has gotten a lot of performance for that relatively small amount of money.

Sounds like just what we need in the White House

Television. You have to respond to negative ads, for one, and to create story for yourself as well. “Top of the mind” awareness for the voting booth, because a lot of voters, even in the primaries, know little about the candidates but rely of “what they’ve heard” from television ads.

Debates are for political junkies only. Picture a million dollar of ad buys from Obama:

“Herman Cain wants to raise the price of food, medicine, and children’s toys by 9%, while he cuts the Corporate tax rate for his millionaire buddies to 9%. Is that fair? Shame on you Herman Cain.”

Ain’t no debate countering that.

Mitt can beat Obozo...but I don’t think he can get past Herman Cain. People are just now finding out about Herman Cain. What they see, they like.

It’s hermancain.com, but there’s something seriously wrong with his website. Every time I click on a link it kicks me out of Internet Explorer. Maybe that’s why he has so little money.

Give it a shot, and i’ll keep trying.

Just has to route 0.0005% of that to “friendlies” to route back into his campaign, and he’s got a billion dollar war chest.

Cain better be thinking “asymmetrical warfare”.
