Bill Maher bets $1 million Herman Cain won't be Republican nominee

Bill Maher may be anti-religion, but he's got faith in one thing: Herman Cain won't be the the 2012 Republican Presidential nominee.

Maher bet CNBC correspondent Michele Caruso-Cabrera $1 million that Cain won't earn the GOP nomination, and shook hands on the wager during Friday night's taping of his HBO political comedy show Real Time with Bill Maher.

Caruso-Cabrera was arguing that Cain's "incredible likeability factor" could carry him all the way when, Maher snarked back that he'd put a million dollars down against her one dollar that Cain won't win the nomination because Republicans can't deal with a non-white candidate.

This is the stupidity of liberals on display, folks!

We know how they think, we know what they will do and they have no clue about us.

We will see the miracle of the flaming monkeys before either forks over $1,000,000.

Hell ! That’s reason enough for me to vote for Cain right there, just to see Maher lose a million dollars.

Really funny though that a man who can bet a million dollars believes that he isn’t taxed enough and supports the Flea Party.

Hypocrit MF wants to spread the wealth with my poor $50,000 a year salary, while he can make a million dollar bet.

She only has to give one dollar, so it is a million to one bet.

I would love Cain to win just to see Mahr wiggle out of paying.

Cain may not be the nominee, but it has nothing to do with his skin color.

His 9-9-9 plan is seriously flawed.

Maybe he can pick Gingrich as his running mate, Newt will fix it.

What Republicans can't deal with is obnoxious Christian hating com-symp boors like Bill Maher.

I don't have a favorite candidate but this makes me want Herman Cain to win. Even though I think a punk like Maher will try to slime his way out of paying I would love to see him lose $1 million.

And I know Cain would be much better than Obama.

Now if Sarah Palin can just beat the s*** out of Maher for his crude insults of her that would be great.

The only thing this proves is that Maher is overpaid.

Bill Maher bets $1 million Herman Cain won't be Republican nominee

Which candidate is it that will make him join Gwyneth Paltrow and leave the US forever?

These people are all so full of sh!t that anything they say or do has zero credibility.

I bet Maher will lose a million bucks. Just heard a sound bite on the radio of Cain where he says “Stupid people are ruining America. It’s time we voted them out of office!” Stupid people? LOL My God, when is the last time you heard any politician talk like THAT? This guy is phenomenal, straight to the point and so incredibly true! If this guy isn’t the nominee over a RINO like Romney then Repubs are finished as far as I’m concerned. It tells me libs have infiltrated the GOP as well.

About the same credibility as Michael Wiener promising to give away his beloved Cadillac.

If stupidity had a dollar value, Maher is good for it.

He definitely has more than enough to lose on a bet.

Maher is silly. I am also certain he will find a technicality not to pay once Cain wins. A man like him wouldn’t honor the bet.

Not me. As much as I would like to see Maher get poked in the eye, after suffering the four year disaster that is Obama, I want a president who is ready-for-prime-time far, far more.

Then again, maybe this should be considered a campaign contribution to Cain because it will have the effect of causing some people to thoughtlessly support a marginal Republican candidate and increase Obama's chances of keeping his fangs in the throat of the nation for another four years. Something tells me that would give Maher great satisfaction worth more than $1 million.

Middle class families who have a mortgage and itemize deductions already pay about 10% income tax on their gross income.

Why would they want to pay 9% sales tax on top?

You got to be kidding me. This site is stuffed to the gills with detailed critical questions and criticisms about his 9-9-9 plan. You've either simply ignored reading them or you have read them and dismissed the criticism out of hand because you want to believe the 9-9-9 plan like a fundamentalist believes religion. If the explanation is the latter, there is no hope for you. You are just the sort of easy mark Cain is looking for. Jump in line with the other Tea Party lemmings and join the parade.

Cain's 9-9-9 plan has been endorsed by none other than Arthur Laffer, author of the 'Laffer Curve' and the economic-ideological father of Reaganomics, the policies of which introduced the longest economic boom in American history.

If Arthur Laffer is for the '9-9-9' plan, you can bet your bottom dollar that my support for it is now cast in concrete.

As for that yammering nit-wit Bill Maher?

If there was ever a time for Almighty God to smite someone with a million dollar 'fine', this just might be the time, lol
