This is the first piece I’ve read that really touches on the hatred for Zionism in this crowd. I suspect most of these college-age folks use that word the way they use ‘Fascism’ and have little understanding of the meaning of Zionism beyond it being a cool word to toss around that separates one from the rabble who don’t use it in everyday conversation. It’s the hippie equivalent of movie fans who toss around “iconic” (man do I hate that word). It’s a verbal bumper sticker that says “I’m not one of THEM, I’m one of the COOL ones.”
These folks couldn’t find Israel on a map, but they are all about the ‘plight of the Palestinians’.
To constantly view Soros paid idiots of the left engaging in mayhem, mischief,defecating on the streets on cars is priceless. When asked what they want by Hannity and others they don't have a clue.
All this is about the best news we could get.The inevitable comparisons with the tea party will be priceless and significant for voters of all stripes.

So true. For the first time in years I sat down and watched a TV news segment for a straight five minutes. Their coverage of the protests, both here and abroad, made it look like it was sweeping the world. And yes, I still run into people who are echo chambers for CNN.
The “occupy movement” is nothing more than an attempt to blame someone other than dim-0s, for the dim-0 depression that the country is in. Blame Bush doesnt work anymore, so now they have moved on to the “evil rich.”
This will go away as if nothing had happened.... these folks have no plan, no leaders, nothing except funding from Soros.
Tea party has leaders and people willing to represent them in government.
I stopped watching the major news networks years ago... and don’t see a reason to go back.
They will not say what they want because they need to appeal to a much larger segment of the population. They keep calling themselves the 99% for a reason: they want it to be true, but if they say what they want, they will lose all but about 3% of the 99%.
