No Romney, no RINOS, no BS-Beltway-corrupt-bastard-incumbents either!
Tea Party Rebellion! YOU BETCHA... at the ballot box, beginning with the earliest primary states!
BE THERE TO VOTE OR BE SCREWED!
Yeah, I voted for Palin not McCain and even so, I won’t make that mistake again.
And I’m going to tell you very plainly so even a dummie can understand it. If you want to push Romney, that’s your business, but FR is mine and you’re not going to push him here! Take your Romney pushing elsewhere. May I suggest BigGovernmentMandateLovingRINO_Wankers_R_Us.com?
It sure does feel like the “fix” is in to annoint Mitt with Christie and Arizona Sheriff Babeu endorsing him last week.
Maybe the time is nearing to draft a Tea Party candidate and go around the GOP establishment.
If you are dead set against Cain feel free to go somewhere else and complain. Maybe someone somehwere else will give you some cheese with your Whine.
> You may be a "woman," but you're no lady.
> What is seriously wrong with you ?
> Go cry to the mods, you old bag.
Do you suppose that you guys could transfer your personal squabbles to private FReepMail, and leave the public thread to the topic JimRob started? I'm getting tired of having to read around you guys throwing poo at each other, to find the useful on-topic comments. That stuff doesn't belong on this thread, for that matter, on this forum. I'll save you the trouble of going to the Mods, I'll do it here. Thanks.
You stated in your first post that you didn't want another President leading with a racial boulder on his shoulder. Cain never once brought up race pre-emptively. He brought it up to counter attacks - which you state yourself in the above quote. This demonstrates someone who wont take sh^t lying down and who doesn't pull the race card on the front end as an easy way out. Which of those two qualities do you not like?
Your statement about Cain leaving Godfathers in worse shape is just pure BS. Cain took over GF in 1986. It was, at the time a literal dog with fleas - hemorraging cash and losing substantial amounts annualy. It was, at the time a divison of Pillsbury. In a year and a half, he slimmed the operation to just over 400 PROFITABLE stores and then personally led a group of investors to a leveraged purchase of the chain from Pillsbury. His work at GF was basically brilliant. Just like his work at BK in Philly - where he took the worst performing division of 400 stores to the most profitable. Get your facts straight or shut up.
Great post Jim. Hopefully this site can be cleaned of the pro-Romney zealots.
I am dead set against Cain. Don’t plan on going anywhere. No cheese with my ‘whine’ needed. If you can’t discern facts and anecdotes about the man, that’s your problem, not mine.
Suit yourself. Three years ago, I refused to vote for RINO McCain and raked over the coals around here for it.
So, if anything, I'm already ahead of some of you here. But we now know how truly destructive Obama is and I can't, in good conscience, give him four more years. If I have to hold my nose twice, I will, but if I don't vote for the Republican nominee, whomever he is, I will be voting for four more years or Obama and, in my mind, that is the ultimate evil.
That’s all well and good but when I’m attacked in an open forum after stating an opinion, I will not stand down.
That makes two of us.
The fact that your listening to NPR radio should automatically disqualify you from commenting on this.
That right is funny! ROFL :D
Sorry. I have to agree with JR on this.
I will never again hold my nose and vote for a stinking RINO.
But you go ahead and live in a vacuum.
I did not like Cain’s little story either because it just seemed...
1. Lame
2. Like he was condescending to the civil disobedience crowd.
I would advise him to avoid talking about race at all costs. He’ll never get endorsed by Ebony or Jet or the NAACP.
Still I like HC. Sarah was my first choice and eyeing the field now it looks to me like Cain is as conservative as any of them except Michele and she has been sorta flat lately.
Anyway, I'm only objecting to the nasty personal attacks, not any opinion on the thread topic. I expect FR threads to be a lively exchange of opinions. Just look at JimRob's opening salvo -- that was plenty lively! You guys want to tear into each other over politics, have at. But tearing each other apart as human beings is unworthy of FR. IMO.
