Well, I think it’s more of a personality disorder, most often brought on by sexual abuse, or as in this case, being raised with incorrect gender identity norms. I understand and sympathise with them that it is often not amenable to change just because the sufferer WANTs to change. Nevertheless, you don’t make evil good by calling it so.
A just caught the end of Dr. Ablow and a doctor from John Hopkins speaking on this particular case. I wish that I had caugh the whole thing. Finally the medical profession is a getting some guts and begining to speak out.
I think child protective services are probably filled with ultraliberals.
