Sources tell ABC News that the president will announce today that US troops in Iraq will draw down to zero by the end of the year.
A White House official says that at approximately 11:30am today, President Obama convened a secure video conference with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki to talk with him about this news.

I actually do not agree with that at all. Believe it or not I actually support this, since it sounds like the troops would not be given immunity.
So, hell yes, they should all be pulled out if this is the case.
1. When he came into office — “Iraq war bad, Afghan war good”
2. Now - The “good war” of Afghanistan has become the bad one, and the ex-”bad war” of Iraq made good will be baddified anew, and permanently so.
Obama deserves credit for creating a rare state of unity among Iraq’s Shiites, Sunnis, and Kurds. For the first time since the 2003 invasion, all three factions are now in agreement on the US leaving Iraq. Yet another foreign policy success [sic] of the Obama Administration.

While I agree that it would be a good idea under those circumstances I don’t believe there is ANY WAY obama would order the withdrawal solely for that purpose. That would, at best, be the cover reason. obama is the worst kind of political animal imaginable. He simply doesn’t do the right thing because it’s the right thing to do. In fact he often refuses to do the right thing if it in any way conflicts with his ideology. This was a political move. He is quite a vile individual. Everything in his background speaks to it.
That jerk and his totally clueless and crude Sec of State had THREE F...G YEARS to negotiate this!!

Here’s a story about finding the remains of a WW2 American bomber crew in Germany.
I agree on the immunity aspect, but Obama fails to mention that the troops will be replaced by 15,000 contractors probably paid much more than military pay.
That concept of the US Dept of State or DOD using contractors in a war zone doing military work, but being paid much more, always struck me as a slap in the face to our real and active duty military.
