BTW you do know that Texas has been embroiled in a long list of legal disputes including the border and energy with the Fed?

I was giving Perry the benefit of doubt- “fair shake” until he chose to call me racist and heartless while pandering to illegals. I hope he is never elected and at this point considering experiences with McCain and Bush on the border issues we might be better off if we had leadership that DOESN’T “understand” the problems. We can educate the uneducated, but changing someone who already has their mind made up and an agenda is nearly impossible.
Better get rid of all business regulations then! After all failure to follow them could result in a fine!

Tell me something. How do you square your personal belief that Americans don’t want to do the work illegals are doing with the fact that when the illegals left Alabama, the employers put out calls for workers and had applicants for days?
Whether you care or not, there are people who have been put out of work by illegals. They are American citizens just like you. At least I think you’re an American citizen. Americans have a right to work in this country. Illegals don’t. They are job stealers and your opinion of the situation does not change that fact.
Perry is saying we should place illegals above our own citizens. Perry should go run for president of Mexico.

Who the hell is saying that will shut down the Border Patrol once the fence is completed? Actually a fence is a FORCE MULTIPLIER, as someone once explained here, in that it makes it much harder and time consuming for the illegals to get here.
But in the end, don’t you feel silly having to defend Perry and his Open-Borders crusade?

Perhaps it’s time we ‘encourage’ Americans to do that type of work again. For a start, there are thousands and thousands of people around the country at these “Occupy” rallies. Perhaps we give them some kind of break on their student loans if they actually try working for a living. If that doesn’t work, we have millions of Welfare Queens. They could help out too. And millions of prisoners. If they don’t want to work, they starve - that simple.
E verify places the onus and the fine on the employer.
Some people don’t like additional business costs and penalty’s for something that is the Feds job.
I am pretty sure all the "open border" "pro-illegal" trolls that supported McCain are back with new screen names and are supporting Perry. I know some have old sign up dates- but think they made duplicate accounts many years ago. Have you noticed the border issue trolls are really quiet between Presidential elections?
