Former Penn State coach Jerry Sandusky has been charged with sexually abusing eight children, with something like a dozen more also claiming they were victimized. That's horrible. Powerful PSU figures appear to have attempted to cover up what they knew. That makes it even worse.
But if one rumor turns out to be true, this may become a story too awful to compare to any other.
There's been nothing reported by an investigative journalist or law enforcement official so far, but a handful of media members are talking about investigations into whether Sandusky may have shared some of his victims with other adult males.

Thursday morning, Mark Madden, a Pittsburgh radio host who wrote a story seven months ago envisioning Sandusky's downfall, went on WEEI's Dennis & Callahan Morning Show to discuss the scandal. At the 7:15 mark here, he's asked about the "next shoe to drop." Here are his remarks:
I can give you a rumor, and I can give you something I think might happen. I hear there's a rumor that there will be a more shocking development from the Second Mile foundation. And, hold on to your stomachs because this is gross, I'll use the only language that I can, that Jerry Sandusky and Second Mile were pimping out young boys to donors. This is being investigated by two prominent columnists as I speak.
Madden also speculates it'll be revealed that Sandusky was told to retire as part of a cover-up.
CBS Sports' Gregg Doyel tweeted the following later in the morning, appearing to cite a source besides Madden:

We can hope none of this is true, but multiple outlets are saying it's being investigated. If it is, let's then hope investigators are able to find it never happened.

Also mentioned yesterday was the death of Gricar’s brother. Roy J. Gricar went missing in May 1996 in West Chester, Ohio. After a week, his body was found in the Great Miami River. His death was ruled suicide by drowning. There was no information connecting that case to the current one, Dixon said.

Actually, what they couldn’t allow to happen was 110,000 people in the stadium cheering and yelling madly in support of Paterno..that’s what they were afraid of..
Someone knowledgable with this mess told ESPN there is a freight train coming,,,it just hasn’t arrived yet. What we know may be just the tip of the iceberg.

A teenage boy from Second Mile was acting out strange behavior, Mother tried to discipline him by not allowing him to go places etc. Coach Sandusky who was helping coach at the kid’s high school, contacted Mother and told her to let him handle the boy. She said No, he is my son.
She went to the HS for help with his change of behavior, somehow found out Coach S had been taking him out of classes etc at school without her knowledge. She then pursued the school, they talked with the boy and the lady principal called the Mother crying and said “You need to come now.”
The boy had broken down and was telling about the molestation. From there it got to the Grand Jury but has been there about a year I believe. That’s the gist of it.
This happened in NC.

Why do you think he “retired”? The good news is, if you can call it that,in less than four years the Nation will become so “tolerany” that this type conduct will not raise an eyebrow. Now on the other hand, if someone reads the Bible in class or says the Lord’s Prayer, all hell will break loose.
I was discussing this very thing with my step-sis’, yesterday, who is a teacher and church youth leader. She said, basically, that since this ‘charity’ was for wayward children....it was a good way to ‘hide’ crimes such as this because there would be a natural consensus of not believing these kids considering their backgrounds. Plus, they’d be easier targets to begin with because of their history of abuse and low self esteem.
Sic, sick, sick.

I think a lot of people are missing a HUGE point here.
This is a ISOLATED TOWN, where the University runs everything. Where the University President presides literally as King, over the entire area.
No one DARES to question him, and EVERYONE sucks up to him.
His word is law on Campus, and especially in the town around. P##s-off a Department Head, and you might as well leave town, because it’s over for you.
You don’t want to have your biz, or your campaign for local office BLACK-LISTED by the liberals running the school, do you?
Your sister needs a job? We might have something in Administration for her, IF you play along...
This is as much a problem of the Culture that allowed it, as it is the scandal itself.
