Sandusky Scandal: Kenneth Frazier a serious conflict of interest (Free Republic exclusive)
Outspot | 13 Sept. 20011 | Outspot

Posted on 11/13/2011 12:05:38 PM PST by OutSpot

In the ongoing saga of Penn State University failures and misguided moral compass, there is unfortunately one more insult to injury to the Sandusky child rape victims and their families. Penn State’s board of trustees last Friday appointed Kenneth Frazier, the chief executive of Merck & Co. as well as Penn State alumni, to lead a special committee to investigate the Sandusky sordid matter. As a Penn State alum myself, it turns my stomach knowing that Mr. Frazier volunteered himself and has serious conflicts of interest in the scandal. Anyone is able to review the Annual reports of Sandusky’s “Second Mile” organization and see that Merck & Co was one of Second Mile’s largest repeat donors for the past several years 2006 (> $50,000), 2007 ($5,000-$9,999), 2008 ($5,000-$9,999), and 2009 ($2,000-4,999). The annual reports can easily be downloaded from the Second Mile website.

If this is not enough grounds already to immediately fire Mr. Frazier, with allegations in the media prior to Friday that Second Mile might have been “pimping” underage boys for large donations to the Second Mile organization (À la “Franklin Scandal”), makes the decision by Mr. Frazier and Penn State even more odd.

Instead of volunteering yourself Mr. Frazier you should have immediately recused yourself from committee participation due to your company’s direct monetary ties to the scandalous Second Mile criminal enterprise. Penn State, with its damaged brand, has a choice to make now, to further cleanse itself from this incredible scandal or continuing down the path of covering-up the matter.

Regrettably yours,

Outspot

Athletics is such a healthy activity, teaching positive values to the young. For example, a grown man buggering you from behind is not having sex with you if he doesn’t give you a reacharound. Likewise, oral. Just ask former President Clinton about that baby. So put out, kid. It’ll save you from becoming homophobic.

Part of the process needed is getting the homo Sandusky to testify and identify the homo donors were who had homosexual sex with the boys.

Sandusky is out on $100K bold. Who wants to take the bet that Sandusky commits "suicide" before he can testify and identify the other homos.

Penn State needs to do a world class kick ass internal investigation to make sure that there is never the slightest possibility that this can happen again without someone reporting it, and that the University President is given the police report number and their legal counsel obtains a copy of the report. That being said, the people doing the investigation MUST not have any conflict of interest.

Good job! Wonder if the alumni/students know this about Mr Merkie. Is there a website for the alumni and students where you can post that info?

More like the “Board of Enablers”.

Evidently the President who was recently fired by the board has a reputation for enthusiastically pushing “gay rights.”

“Those who knew former Penn State President Graham Spanier during his four years as chancellor of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln described him Wednesday as a champion of gay and minority students who wasn’t afraid to fight for what he believed to be right.”

Rest of that article is here:

http://journalstar.com/news/local/education/article_3b139234-2902-5efe-a462-0ee05a5d5e31.html

Now that may be perfectly OK, at least as far as such stuff is ever OK, since just about every university President in the country has been pushing gay rights, conservative religious schools excepted. But I am a bit curious about this, and wonder if there are any odd connections between Spanier and Frazier, or what role Frazier may have played in hiring Spanier to be President a few years ago.

Actually he’s not even out on $100,000 bond but on a signature bond. Sound’s like he’s got loads o’ friends in high places.

Way to go! Enough with covering all the adult asses in this abuse ring while leaving the boys totally uncovered. Merck may be open to damages by the victims for funding the abuse operation.

The rabbit hole of ethical corruption runs deep in modern America.

The judge that let Sandusky out on an unsecured bond is also associated with Second Mile.

Indeed, they always dress their deeds the way they dress their little preys. It’s why they dominate the fubar media and advertismewnt powers that be. Liberal hypocrisy and obvious run arounds is ridiculous.

Better be found in a bed of a prostitute with the right ideas than go to church with a moralizing smart arse Clinton perv liberal mind wrong.

The high-ups at Penn State are corrupt to the core.

The real story is them, not Paterno. They just fired him to get the heat off themselves.
