“And she ran calling ‘Wildfire!’”
See what happens when you let crazy people run around calling who knows what?

Socialism kills.
These deaths are the direct result of allowing enviro-socialism to replace the 10,000+ year old historical management of the land by man.

“At least one man is dead, after suffering a fatal cardiac arrest while evacuating”
we generally see headlines like “Fire kills 1”

No doubt President Urkel will blame this fire on Global Warming like he did the Texas wildfires.
I know there's a video of him saying that but I couldn't find it.

Caughlin Ranch is one of several beautiful planned communities in Reno. It is right at the base of the Sierras.

My brother lives at the northern end of Lake Tahoe, and he said he can see evidence of the wildfires from there. Scary!

Caughlin Ranch area of Reno is absolutely beautiful and lined with multi-million dollar homes.
OUCH!
This is COSTLY and UGLY!

Wow, I was going to be in Reno tomorrow....think I'll skip this trip. I live in NE Nevada and this is the first I even heard of the fire.

The heat is affecting the one armed bandits in the casinos here - they are dispensing unexpected and unjustified jackpots seemingly at random. If you’re nearby, come on over, I’m about $1,600 ahead, and still winning.

Prayers up for all of the people being affected by this.
I know people who lost their home (and cat) in Bastrop County, TX this past summer and I was close to a wildfire myself, so the people in the Reno area have my empathy and prayers.

We are down to ten large air tankers in this country. 10 years ago we had 44. A big problem is one idiot in the USFS killing off the contracting system.
