I support what they are doing but in my lifetime I have seen a lot of corruption at the county, state & city level.
In fact I think if there is ever an honest investigation I think the average American would be astounded at the depth of political corruption from federal on down to city & county. In the state I grew up in there were a lot of corrupt county sheriffs, if wasn’t for the Fed’s coming in and busting up their little fiefdoms they would still be there.

Change is coming—and its going to get worse. Both Right and Left want change. A Revolution is in the works—lets hope it stays peaceful.

In California, the Attorney General is superior to the Sheriffs. CALIFORNIA CONSTITUTION
ARTICLE 5 EXECUTIVE

SEC. 13. Subject to the powers and duties of the Governor, the Attorney General shall be the chief law officer of the State. It shall be the duty of the Attorney General to see that the laws of the State are uniformly and adequately enforced. The Attorney General shall have direct supervision over every district attorney and sheriff and over such other law enforcement officers as may be designated by law, in all matters pertaining to the duties of their respective offices, and may require any of said officers to make reports concerning the investigation, detection, prosecution, and punishment of crime in their respective jurisdictions as to the Attorney General may seem advisable. Whenever in the opinion of the Attorney General any law of the State is not being adequately
enforced in any county, it shall be the duty of the Attorney General to prosecute any violations of law of which the superior court shall have jurisdiction, and in such cases the Attorney General shall have all the powers of a district attorney. When required by the public
interest or directed by the Governor, the Attorney General shall assist any district attorney in the discharge of the duties of that office.

We recently had a huge (about 1,000 people) rally here (Defend Rural America) where we had 7 Northern CA and S. Oregon Sheriffs speak http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iIrGFRMIryk People gave each a standing ovation. They are fed up of being hogtied and pushed to the wall by environmental regulations. The current catalst is the “travel management plan” to close hundreds of roads on the National Forest. I believe another 7 Sheriffs have now joined the CA group.

There is a similar movement among rural county supervisors and commissioners in the western states. They are in the process of forming a multi-state coalition.

“Gives me encouragement and hope.”

Saw this comment attributed to Joe Arpaio today with regard to the efforts of his posse investigating “Obama”’s eligibility.

“They’re living this thing,” the sheriff said. “I think they almost dream about it at night, with all the stuff that’s come.”

That’s a pretty audacious statement. Judging by the pink jumpsuits and baloney sandwiches that are famous hallmarks of Joe’s accommodations, as well as his well-known admonishment that ‘If you don’t like it here, don’t come back,” it would appear reasonable to presume that he wouldn’t say something like that unless he plans to back it up.

This 2012 Ending in Fire thing is looking more plausible by the day. . . ;)

that post was a correction of the spelling of #OWS you replied to..However, #5 was my post... sarcasm was the unimportance of OWS and their boycott robots—they have no money, have not worked long enough to have saved any money, and the rest fall into the category of the romance of the fight-any fight.

A Revolution is in the works—lets hope it stays peaceful.

You just had a form of revolution in the #OWS or Occupy London, or Occupy Oakland or Occupy _______, and it was not peaceful. You just had a shooter at the WH and that was not peaceful, you had Another loan terrorist "finally" hauled into custody, in NYC and that was not peaceful.

If you think you can judge a revolution on the Tea Party in orderly conduct and excellent sanitary habits..then keep the naïveté.

Let's see the Tea Party followed all the rules-paid for their permits, were pretty much ignored in numbers by the media vs. the #OWS crowds just showed up with Internet recruitment all over the world, were welcomed by the city, the state, and the federal government including the President as a whole. They looted, they--well you know what they did-and they remained day after day causing the taxpayers millions in extra police duty etc intimidation of school children to intimidation of Mayors AND the media gave them all the press they needed and showed the numbers from sky cams.

Now which organized {PR people} revolution do you see having the most value according to the media?[who also joined in as did government officials [one arrested] in Boston]...???
