If the chicken parts are so bad that they cannot be made into a mcnugget, then it may not be fit for dogs.
Ping!
Chicken Jerky Treats ping.
So far it looks like they are bad for some dogs.
Likely no data on odd cats who discovered they were tasty.
I was buying my Basenji chicken jerkey treats from Milo’s Kitchen. He loved those things! It was like crack for him! I noticed that they were made in China. Other Milo’s Kitchen treats are made in the US, but he doesn’t like the other flavors. I’ve looked at other brands of chicken jerky treats, and they all seem to be made in China. Basnejis are especially prone to Fanconi syndrome, so I stopped giving them to him. I also noticed that he was having a lot of asthma attacks when he ate them.
Our doggy got sick when we gave him some kind of meat jerky treats from China.
Now give our dog only stuff made in the old USA.
So folks, just wait until all of your medical products are made there. Yip freakin eee.
My dog’s been eating the chicken jerky strips from Costco for years with no ill effects that I’ve noticed.
Chickity China?
I will not buy any products for my dog made in China.
I queried the pet store as to why everything comes from China?Trader Joes has chicken jerky treats that say Made in USA ,but I often wondering if they are referring to the packaging.Anybody????
That chicken ain’t chicken...do ya think?
But they taste so good and they are cheaper than the other jerky products I eat.
My dog gets human jerky, usually cheaper than dog jerky. Wouldn’t feed her that dog crap jerky...
I avoid any dog stuff made in China. My dog’s favorite treats are by Waggin’ Train made right here in South Carolina. They have a duck jerky that he likes.
Thank you for posting this!!
My sister lost “Kirby” a few years ago from dry dog food imported from China. The vet said his kidneys failed from whatever poisonous ingredient was added — AND this was an expensive, high end dog food, the kind sold in fancy pet stores!!
My little Shih-tzu loves chicken jerky — he has had terrible skin problems and has spent many hours at the vet ($$$). Vet thought it was a flea allergy but it turns out it wasn’t, vet couldn’t figure it out. Now I’m thinking it is from the chicken jerky!!
I will check labels FROM NOW ON — Waggin’ Train, Milo’s Kitchen and Trader Joe’s chicken strips are regular dog food items at my home.
I would be terribly heartbroken if one of my dogs died — not to mentioned VERY angry.
Correlation does not imply causation.
My wife makes homemade chicken jerky-our dog loves it.

We should ban imports of all goods from China, or goods containing any Chinese content, intended for human or animal consumption. This is a survival issue for people. Chinese crap will kill us and our pets.
