Donald Berwick, the rationing advocate President Barack Obama nominated to head the U.S. Medicare and Medicaid programs in the face of opposition from pro-life advocates, has quite his post in the Obama administration.
Because he is unable to get enough votes in the Senate to approve his nomination, his recess appointment will end and Berwick has decided to stop down from his position as the chief implementor of Obamacare, the health care law pro-life groups opposed because its prompts concerns about abortion funding, rationing, and fails to protect the conscience rights of medical workers.

My doctor told me he went to a lecture by this guy and he was the smartest man he had ever heard speak. I didn’t know what to say (obviously showing me being more stupid than Donald Berwick—not).
Great news! Now if they would all quit and decide to work their magic on a country that would appreciate their efforts, like Cuba, we could get on with the task of repairing the damage they’ve wrought.
Heard the tail end of a segement on Mark Levin yesterday and from what I gathered a brain surgeon had been at an AMA meeting that was addressed by someone from our benevolent government health and human services agency - or whatever it’s called.
In the meeting the government representative referred to people over 70 years old as “units”. And apparently the government feels that these “units” are deserving of less attention than actual people.
Another reason why they had to get rid of Sarah - she saw through them and didn’t mind saying so.

Of possible interest: he’s a pediatrician. Perhaps the perfect choice for Obama with rationing for older people as one key issue.
Excellent. The old commie is getting the boot, not “quit[ting]” as the headline says. This is a win for the American people.
I believe he is leaving only as an election year ploy so der Fuehrer and the democrat party can set aside questions about his obamacare disaster...until after the election. The senate is still in democrat party hands so not having to vote for the POS helps the senate democrats who have to run.
I’m sure the scumball will re-appear. Just like Van Jones.
