Iran Claims Arrest of 12 CIA, Mossad Agents

An Iranian official said that Tehran has arrested 12 people whom it claims are “CIA agents” - and that they had working in coordination with the Mossad and other security agencies. Parviz Sorouri, a member of the Iran government's foreign policy and national security committee, was quoted in Iranian media Wednesday as saying that “The U.S. and Zionist regime's espionage apparatuses were trying to damage Iran both from inside and outside with a heavy blow, using regional intelligence services. Fortunately, with swift reaction by the Iranian intelligence department, the actions failed to bear fruit," Sorouri said. According to a report by an international news agency, the twelve are residents of Iran who received payment for reporting to the CIA on Iran's nuclear program. ABC News reported that U.S. officials are concerned over the “sloppy handling” of intelligence assets by handlers; besides the latest arrests in Iran, an alleged CIA spy ring was recently broken up in Lebanon by Hizbullah terrorists. ..... Commenting on the arrests, a CIA official told ABC News that “Espionage is a risky business. Many risks lead to wins, but some result in occasional setbacks," the official said. Officials said they believed that the group captured in Lebanon were executed shortly after they were caught; in Iran, they said, a show trial is likely first, after which the 12 will be executed. “Collecting sensitive information on adversaries who are aggressively trying to uncover spies in their midst will always be fraught with risk," the official told ABC.

In June, Hizbullah chief terrorist Hassan Nasrallah said that several CIA spies who had infiltrated the terror group had been arrested. The U.S. denied that those captured worked for the CIA, but sources in the Obama administration were quoted as saying that Nasrallah “wasn't lying.”

GRRRRRRRRRR....................

This is even worse. Hizbollah has alleged agents in captivity. Probably even State had enough sense to deny they were agents, and then an unnamed source in the Obama Administration says “Nasrallah wasn’t lying.” How dare they. If it’s true, someone in the Obama Administration committed high treason. If it isn’t, they’ve just murdered some hapless fools.

Hizbollah, of course, would never simply line them up against a wall and shoot them, not when it’s so much more fun to torture them ‘til they sing, and whether or not they tell them anything, later do a beheading video.

In other words our CIA is not only admitting to clandestine operations ,but basically saying to Iran that they have the right people.

What kind of CIA have we got? They have provided the proof to Iran that will hang these people. WTF?

Exactly, so where are all the whiners who never shutup about Valerie Plame? She was no longer in the field, if she ever was, in this capacity. She was an analyst, not an espionage agent.

So lets get ole Fitzy back on the payroll to find out how this unnamed source was and hang this administration by its toe nails until someone’s testimony doesn’t agree with some journalist’s perception.

What you said. Why even bother imprisoning Aims or Pollard? Why not just declare open house at Langley and hang up a big sign: FOREIGN AGENTS, JOURNALISTS, DIPLOMATS WELCOME. Photocopy anything you want, ignore the TOP SECRET jackets. Anything you don’t find, just ask our public liaison officer. We have no secrets anymore. If you don’t care to make the trip, try us on the internet at “www.blabbermouthidiot.com”

Agents or informants? There is a big difference but for propaganda purposes, they are CIA Agents.

Then there is the list of extremely embarrassing incidents, the most recent being the missile destroying explosion right in Tehran.

The article is an attempt to place blame on actually unknown and very successful operatives.

The very successful and destructive incidents having no claim for responsibility must be driving them batty. The real irony is that Allah knows but he ain’t telling

I hope those in the CIA realize their is a Rat in their ranks. Can you think of a time when 12 CIA guys were all exposed at the same time. This kind of like loosing all the SEAL Team 6 guys right after they dumped OBL.

Maybe they’ll make them walk around in their undies with ladies’ panties on their heads for a hat. They might even—gasp!—Organ music!—photograph them that way.
