I wonder if they are simply stupid, ignorant, lazy, careless or don’t care? They do this frequently. I think they must be trying out the theory of the 10,000 monkeys with typewriters process of writing.
My shock at the poor quality of students being produced by our universities grows by the day. Not only can’t they write well, they don’t speak well or think well. Their problem solving skills would have to be present to be poor.
There are a few notable exceptions and I was fortunate enough to be able to hire one. He sticks out like a sore thumb and is horribly frustrated by his cohorts. It is a daily challenge to keep his spirits up not because of his attitude but because he feels so alone. Great young man, reminds me of my own son who can run circles around just about all of his peers.
