Its pretty obvious I support Newt.

My problem with Cain since day 1 is his lack of experience. He’s never even held public office. He would go into the White House with less experience than Obama went in. We can’t afford that. The problems are too extreme and the threats to the country are too real for us to spend years with a president that needs on-the-job training.

Whoever is elected needs to hit the ground running with a real plan that’s going to work. What’s Cain big plan when he’s elected, submits 999 to the Congress, and the Democrats filibuster it?

The problem with Newt, and with many of the other candidates, is that they are professional politicians and THOSE are the jokers who have gotten us into the mess we are in as a Nation. They go to Washington, or to their State Capitols, and they make deals, they schmooze, they compromise and I'm here to tell you, that it is the COMPROMISING that has brought us to the edge of whether we survive or not as a society.

Sure, Newt is the smartest guy in the room, he debates well, he presents his arguments convincingly but he remains PART OF THE PROBLEM because he is just as immersed in that inside-the-Beltway culture as his peers are.

As to asserting that Herman Cain lacks experience? Go to my post #280 and review that experience, and compare it to that 'community organizer' we have in the White House right now, then ask yourself who you would choose to lead this Nation?

As other posters have pointed out, why do we only see the most rabid attacks directed at the likes of Sarah Palin, and now: Herman Cain?

Here's your clue: THOSE individuals are the ones who scare the bejesus out of the 'Rats and their leftist enablers throughout America.

First off, you're dead wrong about Cain's experience. He was the Chief Executive Officer of a major US corporation. That's equivalent on the job experience for the post he's seeking.

What's Newt's executive experience? After all, he's applying to be CEO of the largest corporate institution on the planet. Answer: None. He was a legislator, which might be equivalent to being a corporate board member who votes on company policy and planning.

As to equivalent experience, I don't think Newt's ever even been a regional manager, much less a CEO.

What major corporation would promote someone with zero management experience to the post of Chief Executive Officer? Answer: Few, if any.

That's the way things work in the real world, and conservatives are normally bright enough to see these things without being schooled on them. Let's not do like the Dems, and nominate an inexperienced legislator to be our president. As you can see, the results are always disastrous (see: BHO, LBJ, and JFK).

Herman Cain has lived the other side of politics. As a CEO he has been the receiver of misguided laws and regulations. He knows what needs to be changed and how to do it. Cain is a reformer. That is why he will be a good President.

Herman Cain would change politics as we know it.

You joined FR only on Oct 24 and are already trashing Herman Cain? I hope you get zotted. I suspect you are a paid stooge of Karl Rove.

Since when has being a politician qualified that person (especially a RAT bastard socialist demoRAT) to be anything BUT a politician, skilled at lying & taxing & spending & wasting taxpayer money.

As William Buckley proclaimed it once, he would rather be governed by the first 300 names in the telephone book, rather than the entire Harvard faculty, and I think you can substitute professional politicians & congress critters in place of the Harvard faculty. There is no body of people more evil & corrupt & incompetent right now, than the entire socialist RAT bastard demoRAT congressional politicians (led by the chief anti-christ 0dumb0) and the RINO's in Washington D.C. We don't need more lyin' thievin' politicians & political appointees in Washington DC. We need rock solid conservative, patriotic Americans who are willing to roll back the tyranny & programs of socialism over the past 80 years, and completely nullify & void these socialist programs.

What should Cain (or any Repub president) do in the face of demoRAT filibusters? Maybe do what 0dumb0 has done and is doing right now, and that is to simply issue executive orders in order to disband & nullify socialist programs wherever they exist.
