I wish they would all turn him down.
Trump's just using it to massage his massive ego. And when did Trump become a conservative icon?
What a circus.

So Ron Paul thinks the left-wing networks and journalists are better hosts and moderators than Donald Trump? Why am I not surprised this asshat would do this?

I’m sure, however, if it were Alex Jones or David Duke, Paul would be all over it.

Trump will spend more time pushing his book and reality show. My understanding is Huntsman declined as well.
BTW, you guys should be watching the LSU-Georgia debate going on right now on your SEC-CBS station.

These candidates will get more exposure on Trump’s debate than any of the others. Dumb not to attend.

I don’t see anything good coming from a Trump-moderated debate. Can you imagine....Trump asks them all about the “birther” business, and tar & feathers them all. Just what the GOP needs. I still think he’s a liberal Trojan Horse.

Ron Paul needs to be beamed back up.
Trump would show him for the looney he is, notwithstanding he has some usable ideas....

I like this idea. I think it would attact a different audience - the audience of people who aren’t going to watch a debate otherwise. Those people need to hear the conservative point of view - unfiltered by the lamestream media. Plus Trump has established himself in their eyes as someone who picks winners. His fans will trust his pick. His endorsement of a candidate will mean a lot. However it ends up, Trump will make it look like he chose that person and his stamp of approval will mean votes.

Paul knows that Trump is a closet statist; that is why.
