AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and he’s not retiring until every American agrees with him, do NOT doubt him, with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (that’s Rush, for those in Rio Linda),the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back — just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! America’s anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A Real Man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander in Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do—that’s host. Get ready to what you were born to do—that’s listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

"The essence of any struggle for healthy liberty has always been, and must always be, to take from some one man or class of men the right to enjoy power, or wealth, or position, or immunity, which has not been earned by service to his or their fellows," Roosevelt said. "That is what you fought for in the Civil War, and that is what we strive for now."

Obama Is About To Make A Big Class Warfare Speech, And Echo A Republican President At The Same Time
~~~~~~~~~~~`
We grudge no man a fortune in civil life if it is honorably obtained and well used. It is not even enough that it should have been gained without doing damage to the community. We should permit it to be gained only so long as the gaining represents benefit to the community. This, I know, implies a policy of a far more active governmental interference with social and economic conditions in this country than we have yet had, but I think we have got to face the fact that such an increase in governmental control is now necessary.
Roosevelt's New Nationalism speech completely failed to pull the Republican Party in a progressive direction. Many Republicans denounced Roosevelt's "New Nationalism" as "socialism" ... which it clearly sounds like.
Roosevelt eventually split from the Republicans and created a new Progressive Party. In 1912, he ran against Taft and lost to President Woodrow Wilson. America got a progressive president as Roosevelt wanted.
Previewing Obama's New Nationalism speech
So was he saying he did have indiscretions, but they haven't been proven yet?
Who knows? Maybe he was trying say false and baseless charges when he said "unproven." That would've been better. Of course it's a moot point now.
As for Wayne, bring him on, Michele. LOL!
Mrs S keeps saying “NEVER” and a few other choice words I can’t type.
But in the end we’ll be there together soon enough.
I won’t support him. he is a brilliant man, sure, but he isn’t the best man in the room.
I know people are going to be pissed at this, but with Newt as the gop candidate, the chances of me voting for a third party just went up. A lot.
I am NOT going to vote for the lesser evil again.
I’m kind of getting sick of Republicans scrapping by with my vote simply because they aren’t the other guy. ***SIGH*** It seems like such a waste when you realize that many men have fought and died for our rights, including the right to vote and this is the best we have to choose from. I’m feeling very disheartened at the moment. I hope my endorsement will work it’s typical magic and then hopefully the real conservtives will rise to the top.
Yes you will...and you'll LIKE IT!!! (lol)
I'm thankful I have plenty of time to think this through.
The way things are going, I think I'd rather play Russian Roulette...with one empty chamber.
No...I just have to say that UCONN is going to have a tough few seasons because of the conferences. I hope the ACC takes them.
The truth is that, for UConn, I do believe next season will be better, but as a conference member, it will be tough. Let’s hope the ACC or Conference USA will take UConn and the remaining teams.
I think Paul P will be good for UConn, but RE left so late that recruiting was effected.
I think we will be playing in the ACC along with Rutgers. Maybe Thanksgiving week will be a BC/UConn rivalery game.
“IMO, the cutting down of Cain was DC flexing its muscles to let us wee people know exactly where we stand.
You are either in the beltway or you’re not. Its becoming crystal clear.”
I agree.
