Newt fires back at Pelosi: Bring it on!
The Right Scoop ^ | 12/5/2011 | The Right Scoop

Posted on 12/05/2011 12:16:16 PM PST by TBBT

Newt today said that if Pelosi wants to disclose information about himself from when she was on the ethics committee, that the House should immediately file charges against her as that is a violation of the rules of the House:

First of all I’d like to thank Speaker Pelosi for what I regard as an early Christmas gift. If she’s suggesting she’s gonna use material she developed while she was on the ethics committee, that is a fundamental violation of the rules of the House and I would hope members would immediately file charges against her the second she does it.

Here’s the full clip:

Alright, We get the point. You don't like Newt. Enough already with your hyperbolic Horse $h!t!

Clinton never manipulated Newt. Newt pushed him to a balanced budget, welfare reform and several other legitimate Conservative points. He has a 90% rating from the ACU. He has a 98.6% Lifetime Pro-Life Rating from the National Right to Life Committee (NRLC).

Newt has his faults, mostly due to his having a fertile mind with lots of ideas he is open to discussing. He does so in public and as ideas are explored opinions change. The fact that someone can't alter his point of view is absurd.

Had ANYBODY but Bob Dole run against Clinton, & had
Perot not run, Clinton would have never been reelected. He won two elections and never won a majority of the electorate, far from it!

Enough of your trolling all posts Gingrich to constantly bad mouth him, We get it.

I am not a huge fan of Gingrich as President, but Cain flamed out. He didn't know how to fight back. He also was his own worst enemy by not being marginally informed with foreign policy. Bachman was high and now is low. She either wins Iowa or is done. She also has problems with employees as well. Santorum hasn't caught on and it doesn't look like he will. Romney is a non starter with 75% of the Republican electorate.

If Gingrich wins the nomination, he did so by earning it. I, and MOST Americans couldn’t give a flip about his personal life, Clinton has made that passe.

“What’s tiring is defending Gingrich.”

— why don’t you google it. It’s like ancient history.

I don't need to Google it. I was a news junkey back then too, and I remember full well what happened. And I couldn't care less.

It doesn't matter what the facts are. Don't you see? The MSM will paint a picture of him that has nothing to do with the facts. They are already trying.

And the masses, who are not news junkies like us, will believe it. See also: Sarah Palin.

Exactly! If this weren't an act, he'd keep his yap shut and let her violate ethics committee rules. Then she's done.

I'm sick and tired of Washington Kabuki.

It's good to see Newt returning fire at that demented beeotch, and while I'm disappointed that Herman Cain is no longer in the race, I'm reminded of former SecDef Donald Rumsfeld who said "You go to war with the army you have, not the army you might want or wish to have at a later time."

That is the bottom line at this particular point in time.

Sure, we would all like to have a more conservative candidate, however we are now faced with four basic candidates:

Mitt-Witt Romney = absoeffinlutely NO WAY(might as well vote for 0bama)

Newt Gingrich = looks to be the big dawg to beat.

Rick Perry = shows few signs of rebounding.

Rick Santorum = shows no sign of bounding.

Michele Bachmann = IF she could just get some traction, and had she avoided that joker Ed Rollins...

Jon Huntsman = Toke up if you think he's got a chance.

Ron Paul = The man of the year. Unfortunately, that year was 1901.

That's how I see it. YMMV.

“You are either a moron or a liar.”

What is with FR these days. Lots of angry comments.

I know what is in the public record; but obviously, Pelosi was referring to closed door meetings and dirt she has on Newt. Plus if everything the committee discusses is public record, why would Newt want charges filed against Pelosi for discussing it.

If there is anything fact or fiction, he needs to get it out before the dims “Cain” him....

The facts might not matter to you, but they very much matter to the rest of us. What you are saying is that we should just lay down and accept the MSM version of history and let them drain our support from our most viable candidate.

You should be ashamed of your postion. That’s exactly what they did to Cain. Difference is, Newt will fight. For himself and for us.

Wake up about Newt and do what?

Wake up and admit he is a blowhard has-been egomaniac, and he cannot win in the general.

Vote for whom?

I have no idea. We've got nothing. I can't believe this is where we find ourselves. This election should have been a cakewalk for conservatives. And all we can come up with is Newt Effing Gringrich?

I am furious about this.

Do you really know something the rest of us don't,

Well if you don't know that Newt is a blowhard who won't beat Obama in November, then yes, I guess I do.

or have you allowed the leftists to convince you that the way to earn the respect of your peers is to spout off crazy nasty garbage?

I have no idea what that means. I am not trying to earn anyone's respect. I am just stating my opinion. That's what we do here.

FReepers expect the MSM to do this. What gets us riled is when other FReepers do it here on FR.

Thanks for posting that. It is very instructive that some FReepers trust Nanzi Pelozi more than they trust Newt Gingrich. It’s all I ever need to know about them.

Isn't it amazing that no one here was singing Newt's praises a few months ago. Now he's the freaking goldenboy of FR.

He may be the last man standing, but that doesn't make him a good candidate.

Wake up and admit he is a blowhard has-been egomaniac, and he cannot win in the general.

Newt is certainly a blowhard and an egomaniac. However, given his present polling numbers he is certainly far from a has-been. Someone has to win the GOP nomination and unless you think there are three or more people who are far more likely to do so than Newt then he is hardly a has-been. As for who wins the general, I think Newt can beat Obama. Maybe you don't but neither of us really know.

I have no idea (who to vote for.)

Well, you'll have to choose someone. Right now I'm expecting to vote for Newt.

Newt would have a battle of wits with Pelosi but it’s obvious she’s out of ammunition.
