GOP presidential candidate Michele Bachmann learned that protesters often come in adorable packages. A video captures the Minnesota congresswoman greeting 8-year-old Elijah and his mom at a signing event for Bachmann's book, "Core of Conviction: My Story," in South Carolina.

The candidate, who is an outspoken opponent of same-sex marriage, met her match with the soft-spoken, pint-sized activist. The video shows Bachmann leaning in to listen closely as the youngster whispers, "My mommy's gay, but she doesn't need fixing."

Naturally, Michele Bachmann has MUCH more class than to respond harshly to a little child no matter how the child is being manipulated, but if I had been the candidate set up like that?

When the little varmint said "My Mommy is gay, but she doesn't need fixing" I would have responded, "you don't say?"

"Tell me little fella, is your Mommy raising you to be a queer too? Tell her that JESUS can fix ANY psychological disorder, and it isn't called being GAY it is called HOMOSEXUALITY and it is a SIN, now go tell Mommy!"

Yep! The camel in now in the tent. Remember when the gay thing first started all they wanted was not to be discriminated against. They merely wanted an equal opportunity at jobs. I know my stepson who is 8, knows what gay is. I don't keep him in a plastic er bubble.

Oh really...and you seem to be quite comfortable that your stepchild has already become 'infected' or was it you who injected those depraved thoughts into the mind of an innocent child because "I don't keep him in a plastic er bubble" ?

You should pat yourself on the back for allowing evil to manifest itself through the teaching of evil to that baby.

If you are ok with that and its just another 'lifestyle' in your own opinion and you are passing that along to an innocent, OR allowing it to be passed on, then you are part of the problem.

Amazing how liberals think we are dumb enough to accept that if a cute kid says it, it must be true.

Bachmann was perfect - sweet, maternal, putting the boy at his ease. Then when she hears his little rehearsed speech, she gives the mother a look which says, okay, you set this up, and gives the boy a little wave which says, okay, you did what you were sent to do. Doesn’t embarrass him, doesn’t burden him - unlike his manipulative mother.

I hope you don't see this as lowering the discussion to the level of being trite, but there is only one entity each in control of good and evil.

The United States is not perfect, and no government designed and instituted by man will be.  None the less, there is no better government on the planet than our own.  The founding documents are sound, and getting back to them is vital.

People like Biden and his fellow travelers don't see it this way.  The enemy of their enemy, is their friend.  Anything that will help destroy the current tenets of what the United States is, is good in their eyes.

At this stage in the development of man, the shrinking of the planet, the realization of Biblican prophecy, I truly believe the final conflicts of good vs evil on this planet are playing out.

People must choose whether they support good or evil, and I believe support for Islamic norms and entities against Christian norms and entities, is the final conflict.  Opposing the United States is therefore quite problematic.  The void left would result in cataclysm.

Look at the vile things the Left in the United States supports today.

Look at the wholesome things the Right in the United States supports today.

This should not be read as Democrat vs Republican though.  The Republican party has adopted much of the insanity of the Left, or merely looked the other way and helped inplement the Left's vision.

People may also think that getting themselves right with their church is their only mandate today, but I think it goes much farther than that.  IMO, it goes farther than ever before.  I don't believe a devout Christian should be able to be a Democrat in this age of insanity.  At this point, I'm not even convinced it's possible to be a Republican in good concience.  Look at the the things that are supported under the Democrat blanket.  All too often, the Republican party actually buys in to it.  Are these things God's will?  Well, they are not the will of the God described in my Bible.

The Leftist goals are evil.  The goals of the Right aren't perfect, but they're head and shoulders above the evil of the Left.

Blurring this reality is the job of the Left, and they have cast every other concern aside.  They have been very skillful in their efforts.

I don't think there has been another time, when things were as black and white as they are today.  It is astonishing to me how many people are still comfortable being a Democrat, a devout Leftist.

Israel is losing it's global support, what little it ever had.  I see no religious prediction that it will be destroyed at this stage of civilization.  That should cause folks to sit up and listen, because Israel is in a very percarious situation today, but I see very little evidence of it.

We live in interesting times.

If you're a Zoroastrian. Well, unless you were John Calvin. According to him, there is but one entity in control of both:

Or unless you are like most of the rest of Christendom which recognizes that there are as many entities in control of their own sin as there are beings capable of willing it.

Maybe I’m part of your problem, but part of freedom shouldn’t GAYS have? I believe that everyone should have the freedom not to be discriminated by. That said, if X wants to marry .X or Y, why should it effect me. My wife and I will still be together.

Nothing trite about what you said. And I don’t think we should shy away from the spiritual good & evil aspect of whats happening - its the only explanation IMO.
