~Favorite Cold Song's~
Foreigner - Cold as Ice
You're as cold as ice You're willing to sacrifice our love
You never take advice
Someday you'll pay the price I know
I've seen it before It happens all the time You're closing the door You leave the world behind You're digging for gold Yet throwing away
A fortune in feelings But someday you'll pay
You're as cold as ice You're willing to sacrifice our love You want Paradise But someday you'll pay the price I know
I've seen it before
It happens all the time You're closing the door You leave the world behind You're digging for gold Yet throwing away A fortune in feelings But someday you'll pay
Cold as ice, you know that you are
Cold, cold, as, as, ice, as cold as ice to me Cold, cold, as, as, ice
Ooh, ooh, ooh, cold as, cold as ice You're as cold as ice You're as cold as ice, cold as ice, I know You're as cold as ice, yes I know You're as cold as ice, cold as ice, I know You're as cold as ice, oh yes I know
You're as cold as ice, cold as ice, I know You're as cold as ice, oh yes I know You're as cold as ice, cold as ice

Dean Martin - Baby It's Cold Outside
I really can't stay (but baby it's cold outside) I've got to go away
(but baby it's cold outside) This evening has been (been hoping that you'd drop in) So very nice (i'll hold your hands, they're just like ice) My mother will start worry (beautiful whats your hurry) My father will be pacing the floor (listen to the fireplace roar)
So really i'd better scurry (beautiful please don't hurry) but maybe just a half a drink more (put some records on while i pour) the neighbors might faint (baby it's bad out there) say what's in this drink (no cabs to be had out there) i wish i knew how
(your eyes are like starlight now) to break this spell (i'll take your hat, your hair looks swell) i ought to say "no, no, no sir" (mind if i move in closer) at least i'm gonna say that i tried (what's the sense in hurtin' my pride) i really can't stay (oh baby don't hold out)
both:baby it's cold out side
i simply must go (but baby it's cold outside) the answer is no (but baby it's cold outside) your welcome has been (how lucky that you droped in) so nice and warm
(look out the window at that storm) my sister will be suspicious (gosh your lips look delcious) my brother will be there at the door (waves upon the tropical shore) my maiden aunts mind is vicious (gosh your lips are delicous) but maybe just a cigarette more (never such a blizzard before)
i've gotta get home (but baby you'd freeze out there) say lend me a coat (it's up to your knees out there) you've really been grand (i thrill when you touch my hand) but don't you see? (how can you do this thing to me?) there's bound to be talk tomorrow
(think of my lifelong sorrow) at least there will be plenty implied (if you got namonia and died) i really can't stay (get over that old out)
both:baby it's cold baby it's cold outside

I hear that song, having listened to it dozens of time and I cannot help but envision it being used in a movie:
Scene: Dusk in bomb damaged French Bistro WWI. Stand up piano sits idle in background. Several battle weary soldiers sit around in silence.
Soldier One: Hey Tom, play that song.
(Tom looks despondently at soldier one)
Soldier One: For Ray
('Tom' rises, and snuffs out a smoke, then steps up to Piano, begins tinkering the keys)
Tom: (singing) Crest fallen sidekick in an old cafe
(French Bartender joins in, on accordian, as if on cue)
Tom: (continuing)never slept with a dream before he had to go away
theres a bell in the tower
Uncle Ray bought a round
dont worry about the army
in the cold cold ground.........

Cold (But I’m Still Here) - Evans Blue
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oatd5Hrh3Pg
“Cold (But I’m Still Here)”
Hello, I’m your martyr, will you be my gangster
can you feel my trigger hand, moving further down your back
when you hide, hide inside that body
but just remember that when I touch you
the more you shake, the more you give away
cold, but I’m still here, blind, ‘cause I’m so blind, say never
we’re far from comfortable this time
cold, now we’re so cold, mine, and you’re not mine, say never
we’re far from obvious this time
wait, another minute here, time will kill us after all
now can you feel its second hand wrapped around your neck
so fall into my eyes and fall into my lies
but don’t you forget
the more you turn away, the more I want you to stay
cold, but I’m still here, blind, ‘cause I’m so blind, say never
we’re far from comfortable this time
cold, now we’re so cold, mine, and you’re not mine, say never
we’re far from obvious this time
you’re so endearing, you’re so beautiful,
well I don’t look like they do, and I don’t love like they do
but I don’t hate like they do
am I ever on your mind?
cold, but I’m still here, blind, ‘cause I’m so blind, say never
we’re far from comfortable this time
cold, now we’re so cold, mine, and you’re not mine, say never
we’re far from obvious this time
COLD, you broke me from the very first night
I’d love you ‘til the day that I die
I’m far too comfortable this time
COLD, I loved you from the very first night
you broke me ‘til the day that I die
I’m far too obvious this time
Cindie
