Documents obtained by CBS News show that the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) discussed using their covert operation "Fast and Furious" to argue for controversial new rules about gun sales.

I was listening to Rush and he played the sound bite. I'll see if I can locate the text in Rush's archives.
Oh, and notice the ATF uses the term "DEMAND Letter 3" with regards to implementing more control.
I may go fishing with my firearms this weekend... wonder what the weather will be like.
In case you missed it ping.
This reporter has been trying to make her case for a while but has basically been hushed by CBS. I see all the other major media is running with the story now./s
If even CBS can see the link....
Like the old addage: "just because your're paranoid doesn't mean there isn't a conspiracy afoot....
Praying it is all exposed in the hearing with Holder today..........
Officials in this government committed an Act of War against another country (supplying weapons to insurgents/cartels) in an attempt to manipulate the press and public opinion in order to restrict freedoms in this country.
They should be tried for treason in this country before being shipped to Mexico to be tried as enemy combatants.
But of course, nothing at all will happen to them because we are way past being a nation where the rule of law has any meaning whatsoever.
Change that to “illegal enemy combatants.” That way the Mexicans can hang them.
This is a 100% evil administration. Not stupid, not misguided. Evil.
Mr. niteowl77
F&F just wasn’t “under the radar” far enough.
Not just another country, but one that we're (nominally) friendly with.
The ****** ******* **** ******* bastards are in our sights.
Pray that they don’t put up a distraction for our ADHD traitor media. At the end of the day, they still need viewers. If this is the only juicy story, someone will run with it.
We knew this from day one. It was way too obvious what the oboma administration was doing. Only a fool wouldn't have seen the motive behind this move.
Well, we knew what “Fast and Furious/Gunwalker” was all about.
Recall the Obama admin claiming that he guns in Mexico were coming from Mom and Pop firearms retailers.
This was the aim all along.
Yep. Those killed by these guns were to be considered collateral damage for the cause. The more dead people, the better it was for Oboma and his disarming agenda.
The oboma administration has declared war on America. He's armed it's enemies with the "hope" Americans would be killed.
The progressive Modus Operandi.....
Manufacture a crises.
Wait for the people to cry out for relief.
Blame the opponent for the problem.
Come in with a "new" (socialist/communist) way, because the "old" (liberty/free market) way "didn't work".
For example - the left created the current economic decline via subsidized mortgages. They waited for people to lose everything. People panicked. They blamed the banks. Now, we need a "new" form of economy - a communist (nationalized) economy, because the "old" way, capitalism, didn't work!
They did the same thing with health care. Their trial lawyers made it unaffordable. Again, the people cried out for relief. Presto! We now have a "new" way.

“Documents obtained by CBS News show that the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) discussed using their covert operation “Fast and Furious” to argue for controversial new rules about gun sales.”
Ya think?
Precisely.
If anyone needed a better example of why socialism/communism etc are evil, they just need to lok at the blatant disregard fro life in pursuit of ‘the cause’.
We’ve been saying this from day one... literally from day one.
