Glenn Beck has made no secret of how much he dislikes Newt Gingrich– not even to Newt Gingrich’s face. But he has yet to confront his supporters until last night, when he reasoned to Freedom Watch host Judge Andrew Napolitano that there was very little difference between Gingrich and President Barack Obama– so much so that the only possible explanation for Tea Partiers rallying around Gingrich is “Obama’s race.”

Glenn Beck reminds me of Ron Paul, Libertarian and dead on right about many things but when he’s wrong he’s off the farm!! Michele Bachman has Glenn charmed as well.

Forget about Glen Beck. Fox News, right now, is pounding the hell out of Gingrich. They have spent the last thirty minutes on one issue after another bashing Gingrich on “America’s News”. Fox News is in the tank for Romney. The primary issue they are trashing him on is Israel and Palestine; alleging everything he says is controversial. When a middle east expert agreed Gingrich might be correct, Greg (whatever his name) almost went ballistic.
Do you have any information on how he is actually doing with his big media project and his pay to play website?
My personal view is that Beck is heading toward some sort of combination mega-church and political oriented enterprise. He is certainly well along in setting up an infrastructure that would support something this.
An interesting character but he is completely misreading the tea leaves (along with Karl Rove and many others) vis a vis the rise of Newt Gingrich.

I think he’d better go back to school. I don’t care who he is supporting, this is one of the dumbest things he’s ever said, and he’s said a lot of dumb things.
I’ve wondered that too. We threw out the TV when we moved 3 years ago so I quit watching Fox News then. Even then it was obvious they were heading toward the left.

No exact specific information. Simply the general knowledge that it takes money for equipment and salaries to pay the technical people. I have heard two versions: one he is obtaining subscribers; two he is not. In general, many people have come to the conclusion that he is becoming crazier and crazier. I used to listen to him on the radio about 5 to 10 years ago and then he was more of a light humour type of radio host. When I looked in on him while he was on FOX he had become serious. Personally I don’t think he will last; who pays to hear a TV host? Usually we rely on sponsors to pick up the tab.

“heading toward the left”. Boy-O-Boy, have they ever. Fox News has joined the dark side. There is no doubt about it. “Fox and Friends” is still good as is Megan Kelly. \ Newt is right on his comments about the history of Palestine and should not back off on his statements about it. He needs to position himself shoulder to shoulder with Israel. If this country turns its back on Israel, we are gone.
