Chalk up another brain-dead remark to Debbie.

But she is not the only one. She is actually competing with other Dem serial liars like Julian Epstein, who keeps repeating the lie that Fast and Furious started when Bush was POTUS.

She has options, this;
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democratic_Party_%28United_States%29_presidential_candidates,_2012

http://www.darcy2012.com/

Disappointed by President Obama’s abandonment of many of the progressive values that he articulated so eloquently — and passionately — during the 2008 presidential campaign, coupled with the President’s capitulation to the GOP on issue after issue and his glaring inability to pull the country out of the ever-prolonged “Great Recession,” Darcy announced his candidacy for the Democratic presidential nomination on October 25th.

http://www.darcy2012.com/2011/12/10/darcy-on-the-issues/

“Hope and Change” turned out to be empty rhetoric, just more of the same.

Progressive Democrats shouldn’t be fooled again. America doesn’t need a fourth Bush term.

Unemployment was in the low 5 percent range throughout most of President Bush’s two terms. It didn’t really spike until the end of his second term when Wall Street and housing collapsed. And then, it went to 7 percent. The 9.5 was totally on obamas watch and the republicans need to do a better job of pointing this out. Everyone was working during the Bush years. There were so many jobs to fill that I recall stories about companies hiring retirees.

All this was inspired by the principle—which is quite true within itself—that in the big lie there is always a certain force of credibility; because the broad masses of a nation are always more easily corrupted in the deeper strata of their emotional nature than consciously or voluntarily; and thus in the primitive simplicity of their minds they more readily fall victims to the big lie than the small lie, since they themselves often tell small lies in little matters but would be ashamed to resort to large-scale falsehoods. It would never come into their heads to fabricate colossal untruths, and they would not believe that others could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously. Even though the facts which prove this to be so may be brought clearly to their minds, they will still doubt and waver and will continue to think that there may be some other explanation. For the grossly impudent lie always leaves traces behind it, even after it has been nailed down, a fact which is known to all expert liars in this world and to all who conspire together in the art of lying.

"The check is in the mail."
"I am from the government and I am here to help you,"
"This tax will benefit you."
"We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it."

... and now ,,,

"We project that unemployment will not go over 8.5% if we pass this $767 Billion Stimulus in 2009."

At what point will the DNC be renamed the "Democrat National Prevaricator Committee"?

Government employment didn’t go up. Plus, you have the number of people and corporations on welfare at an all time high. Just think of them of government employees, too.

So what she said is true from a Leftist perspective!

I chalked it up to a brain dead reporter.

Never, not one time, did the reporter mention the unemployment rate—the actual number—when Obama took office: 7.6%

All the reporter had to say was “The unemployment rate was 7.6% when Predident Obama took office, it’s now over 9%; how can you say it didn’t go up?”

Appearing on Fox News this morning, DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz insisted that unemployment didn’t go up in Barack Obama’s term of office,
