WASHINGTON - A former special adviser on Iran policy to the Obama Administration said that a US-perpetrated strike on the Islamic Republic on is the "least bad" option in dealing with its nuclear threat.
"The truth is that a military strike intended to destroy Iran’s nuclear program, if managed carefully, could spare the region and the world a very real threat and dramatically improve the long-term national security of the United States," Matthew Kroenig, a nuclear security expert at the Council on Foreign Relations who served as a strategist under Defense Secretary Robert Gates, said in an article published by Foreign Affairs Magazine.

The threat Iran poses is not a threat to the United States alone. It is a world wide threat.
Europe is closer than we are and in more danger.Of course with a nutbag sitting in Venezuela and in Cube we could have nukes on our doorstep. If Iran gets the bomb I think it is safe to say they will make a couple for Venezuela.
There should be a worldwide coalition to stop Iran from manufacturing that bomb, But China and Russia seem to think they will be safe. The Saudis are afraid of themselves, and Muslims of other sects.Obama isn’t about to act to stop anyone.

I would pull our troops out of all kinds of places, I would issue an ultimatum;
“If anything, anything, comes from your countries, that harms or attacks our interests, or the interests of our allies, you have 24 hours to remove your civilians from your cities. Because,,,, in 24 hours,,, you will have no cities. They will be uninhabitable rubble. Your infrastructure will be gone. No cities, no water, no electric, no gas, no airports, no bridges, etc., etc..”

Why would Obama want to strike Iran when he seemingly likes giving the Iranian regime Christmas presents like a Drone?
