Herman Cain is back [ Lynn Sweet ]

Failed GOP White House hopeful Herman Cain, who dropped out after a woman who said she was his mistress went public is staging a comeback of sorts, he announced on Monday--on the eve of the Iowa caucus.

"Our mission continues, and we're on fire for 2012 and beyond!," Cain said in an e-mail, highlighting a list of media interviews he has booked. Cain is looking to regain some spotlight in a week heavy with Republican presidential politics--that he is no longer a part of.

"....I will soon be announcing a major new initiative. This is a crusade so critical to the long term health of our American economy that we simply must prevail. The first major announcement will be live on the Sean Hannity show, next Wednesday night between 9pm and 10pm ET," Cain said.

Turn him over, he is done on that side.

Does he think these women will just go away? Not likely, they will be back too. The media is digging them up even as we speak.

You cannot turn a campaign off and on like a spigot.

I think Herman Cain has an important role to play here, and has a lot to contribute.

If anything, he destroys the mantra of the libs that has been foisted upon idiot voters for the last 50+ years....ergo, that is why he must be defeated at all cost.

I got the email that this article refers to. Here’s an excerpt they didn’t include:

“Can you imagine being part of a force which radically changes the direction of our country? I’m talking about a real, honest, and formidable organization dedicated to the goal of returning the power of our government back into the hands of the citizens - where it belongs! This goal is attainable. Stay tuned to find out how you can become involved.”

Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t that the Tea Party’s modus operandi? What could Herman Cain’s “movement” possible offer that the Tea Party doesn’t?

If he wanted to make a difference, Herman should have endorsed someone other than Romney so that conservatives would have a candidate to rally behind.

Well I miss Herman Cain’s enthusiasm - there isn’t another candidate that made me so passionate and enthused about the 2012 Election.

I just have not found another person to support. I am part of The Anybody But Obama crowd right now.

Why, because Herman Cain is our leader? :)

I’m happy that he let us make our own decisions, rather than endorsing someone.

Course, I’d much rather have Herman back in again.

"A major new initiative?"

A new 9-9-9:

Every man gets 9 wives, 9 mistresses, and 9 one night stands.

He should stick around and fight if he has the stomach for it, even if he’s just nursing a personal grudge.

A major new initiative? What is that supposed to mean?

It means: "I miss all the attention. Look at me."

Go away, Herman.

Kind of surprised to hear you say that.

Cain has a lot to add to the current discussion...why do you want to tune him out?

He is no threat to the current mix except for the elitist.

The Tea Party was all about getting the "political insiders out" and electing some one fresh, yes?

The media is digging them up even as we speak.

I can't help but be interested in how successful they are at that. I had my doubts about his accusers. If Cain isn't officially running still, he might find it easier to do battle with his accusers in the courts.
