Atheist Group Believes Tebow ‘Full Of C**p’
CBS Denver ^ | 10 Jan 2012 | Matt Higgins

Posted on 01/11/2012 6:27:20 AM PST by Rummyfan

Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow has seemingly made himself the poster boy for Christianity, praying on the field after a win, putting Bible verses on his eye black during games and even starring in an anti-abortion ad during the Super Bowl, but one atheist group believes he’s doing it all for personal gain.

...

Silverman states that Tebow’s repeated references to God into his post-game comments after a win is “bad for football.

“(Religion) injects the divisive force into football,” Silverman says. “Why in the world are we talking about religion when we are talking about football?”

No, the movement is not even anti-religious hatred, it is hatred of Christ. The same nitwits would be mum if an NFL quarterback were offering thanks to Krishna, or attributing his success to Zen meditation, or shouting “Allahu Akbar!” after touchdowns. Either mum or gushing over how diverse and progressive the NFL had become.

Tim Tebow is God’s Troll. And the haters that hate him keep feeding the troll.

Good thing the people who hate Tebow are so stupid they don;t realize this.

Notice that most atheists are anti-Christian. They don’t really care if a Hindu, Budhist, or Muslim expresses his faith.

That's because satan doesn't need to bother with false religions. Only the true God is his enemy.

Probably because they don’t secretly fear falling into the hands of phony “gods” when they die.

“Why in the world are we talking about religion when we are talking about football?”

How can you leave religion out of a sport that has a played called the "Hail Mary"?

‘Full Of C**p’

CBS Denver uses the word “Crap”, not “C**p” in their title.

Deliberate censorship of innocuous words reflects Orwellian fear.

Why are you people always so frightened of spelling out words as they appear?

Ever heard of the 1st Amendment?

Is God being glorified through TT? Yes.
Is God being glorified through his critics? Yes.

Praise the Lord, for He is Good.

Perhaps Mr Silverman can explain why Sunday's playoff game was the most-watched in over twenty years, if TT is so bad for football.

Mr Silverman's the type who doesn't let facts mess with his story...
