Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow has seemingly made himself the poster boy for Christianity, praying on the field after a win, putting Bible verses on his eye black during games and even starring in an anti-abortion ad during the Super Bowl, but one atheist group believes hes doing it all for personal gain.
...
Silverman states that Tebows repeated references to God into his post-game comments after a win is bad for football.
(Religion) injects the divisive force into football, Silverman says. Why in the world are we talking about religion when we are talking about football?

Why do a**holes like this even get ANY media attention whatsoever?
Oh.....never mind.
None so blind...
Of course they do. What else would you expect?
But...they're in for a surprise.
An atheist tantrum! Cool! The commie libs are freaking out all over the place. I’ve got a feeling that they know their time is running out. It will be November before you know and all of the commie libs will be scurrying back to the sewers.
Why not?
Oh! That's right. If they don't like or agree with something then it has to be stopped and all forced to avoid the subject of their loathing.
How about atheists just ignore it.
Besides, God loves football and appreciates a shout out now and then. His agents work in plugs when they can.
Love that atheists are quoting Biblical to excoriate Tebow.
Atheists are jokes in and of themselves.
In other news, dog bites man.
But it sounds like they have a good "work" ethic. Ha ha!
Exactly. The movement is not atheism it is anti-religious hatred.
Even Pat Condell, one of the most articulate and brillant atheists you will ever find, is sick of these stupid attempts by these groups to try to eradicate any idea that religion exist.
To paraphrase G. K. Chesterton, “If there were no G-d there would be no aetheists.” — Stevie666
Imagine looking forward to nothingness once you die.
No wonder they’re so miserable.
“(Religion) injects the divisive force into football, Silverman says. Why in the world are we talking about religion when we are talking about football?”
That’s some pretty judgemental, religious sounding pontification there boys.
Great point. According to the atheists, huge TV ratings are bad for football. Those atheists must be really smart. LOL!
Rev 12:12
Therefore rejoice, you heavens
and you who dwell in them!
But woe to the earth and the sea,
because the devil has gone down to you!
He is filled with fury,
because he knows that his time is short
Notice that most atheists are anti-Christian.
They don’t really care if a Hindu, Budhist, or Muslim expresses his faith.
That sums it up beautifully. Thank you FRiend.
Their philosophy of life results in making themselves god, they ultimately worship themselves or the creation rather then their Creator.
