The voters will decide which candidates drop out. Well, that’s the way it should be. Guess I’m just dreaming.

Gingrinch will get a 3-4% boost from Perry dropping out and endorsing him. Texas is in the bag for Newt with Perry behind him.
Today Mitt has a big lead in Florida. I suspect that it will be dropping soon after the South Carolina primary.
The media and the White House wanT Romney to be the nominee for the Republican Party. That is all you need to know about Romney. HE IS THE WRONG CHOICE FOR THE GOOD GUYS.

Real Clear Politics (of CHICAGO) must be sobbing huge alligator tears!
They finally updated their SC charts...
Here is the
first part of the Rasmussen article...
Election 2012: South Carolina Republican Primary
South Carolina: Gingrich 33%, Romney 31%, Paul 15%
Thursday, January 19, 2012 Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich has now surged ahead of Mitt Romney in the final Rasmussen Reports survey of the South Carolina Republican Primary race with the vote just two days away. The latest telephone survey of Likely GOP Primary Voters in the state finds Gingrich with 33% support to Romneys 31%. Two days ago, before the last debate, it was Romney by 14 percentage points. Texas Congressman Ron Paul now runs third with 15% of the vote, followed by former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum at 11%. Paul's support is steady while Santorum's support has dropped five points since Monday. At the beginning of the month, just after Santorums strong showing in the Iowa caucuses, he ran second to Romney with 24% of the vote. |

To be honest, it pains me to say this but I was a HUGE Santorum supporter and still would like him to be President someday, but it is Newt’s to lose and the least I can do is support him. Santorum would be a great VP or something. I just hope he does not do too much damage to their friendship these last few days....I don’t think he will. Even if he sits this out, he is only 53 and has plenty of time. Going for Senator of Pennsylvania against Casey in a rematch in November would be helpful.
