No way. If Santorum stays in, it will will make it much harder for Newt. If Newt was in it alone in SC, he would easily beat Romney by 20 points.

Santorum can't win and needs to go. He would make a horrible President if for some unconscionable reason he would win.

Bless you!!!! Bless you!!! I am so glad you were able to vote with a cool head and chose the true conservative. Newt is flash and bravado. Santorum is slow ans steady. Readers of Proverbs and Ecclesiastes know the right thing to do. So glad to hear from you!

If Newt wins the media will spin it as a fluke because the bad weather kept the Romney voters away from the polls.

No I want those who refuse to vote for Newt to vote for Santorum rather than waste their vote on the liberal Romney Santorum wont win but he can help stop Romney from getting too close to Newt.. I want a LARGE margin between Newt and Romney so that Romney cant try to “Santorum” Newt on the results...
Your heart is in the right place... But you miss the mark. You should be hoping that Santorum does worse than expected - coming in 4th behind Ron Paul. If Santorum achieves a convincing 3rd place, it will only bolster him to continue with his futility. This will make it more difficult for Newt to stop Romney in Florida.

Voted about 9:30. Was #95 in a precinct with about 2000 registered voters (don’t know the typical R/D split there yet-just moved there).

In case you guys haven’t seen this:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/2835567/posts

Final simulation has Newt by 14,000 votes. However, looking like my margin of error is going to be +/- 2% with Newt around 37%, Romney near 30%, Santorum 15-16% and Paul 13-14%.

I think turnout might be nailed at roughly 495,000-500,000 because I appear to have the Paul vote fully accounted for.

County by County analysis in the thread I posted. After the results come in, I’ll compare to how well(poorly) I did.

Yes, Kraut does speak very arrogantly. I lost respect for him when he used to trash Fred. :( Kraut is all about following the media picked candidate.

“It amazes me that people think the American people would choose someone like Calista Gingrich as First Lady..”

Iran is about to get the bomb. Do you want Hussein in the White House or Newt Gingrich who happens to have a wife? She is a non factor in these perilous times.

Clinton did that in the Oval Office and then committed perjury.

As someone on the receiving end of a similar situation, It isnt my job to “punish” someone during a critical election by tossing the race to Romney.

But if all the issues of the country rank far below this, then by all means let the so-called Christian community make that loud and clear so that candidates in the future will just avoid them.

It amazes me that people think the American people would choose someone like Calista Gingrich as First Lady. Imho, this will turn off huge numbers of people - a woman who had an adulterous affair with a married man for over six years.

What if you thought Calista's husband could turn the country around and Mitt couldn't. How would you vote assuming that Santorum is not going to be the nominee (and he's not)?

I do agree with your sentiment. However since we have to choose between a very flawed imperfect conservative and the immaculate RINO, then I say go with the Newtster. We need this man, he fights.

You're being really nasty. Do you really think your hyperbolic battering of Santorum will move his supporters to your side?

Or do you think that it will make Santorum supporters......solid conservatives......turn against your guy?

There are a lot of people who look up to Santorum AND to Newt for different reasons, and who don't like some of their qualities, and don't deserve to be belittled by an angry guy trying to live up to his psycho freeper name.
