Is it just me, or does Romney look really rough and ragged tonight?

He is coming off as very desperate.

I'm trying to watch with my Newt glasses on. Is it just me and my bias or is everyone else getting the same impression.

I meant to say “ watching with my Newt glasses off”. (I’m trying to watch from an unbiased viewpoint. )

It’s awful for all of them. The only one who looks good is Brian Williams, who is doing Obama’s bidding tonight. And the four folks on the stage are falling right in line.

Just awful awful awful .

He is looking desperate, but I think his attack on Newt resulted in a draw.

Romney just wants to bring down Newt. Has Newt on his heals. Newt has to slam Romney. He hasn’t.

NO NO NO NO NO. Newt has to slam Obama and the liberals and refocus the argument. This is how Newt took the lead. He only hurt himself when he tried to slam Romney,

I think it would have been great if Newt had said. “Are you finished?”....and then went on to talk about other issues.

“He hasn’t.”

“He only hurt himself when he tried to slam Romney,”

Well, has he slammed Romney or not?

Understand. Was hoping for a knock it out of the park moment from Newt. Seems like Newt wasn’t ready for the attack. I read, he should have said, are you finished, would have been perfect.

Fairly boring so far. No one is really standing out so far. Everyone looks fatigued.

Mitt seems to me to be talking as fast as he can, and much of what he says is sound bite lacking real substance.

He also did his best to confuse consulting and lobbying.

By engaging in all that minutae about his contract and speakership and so on - the little details - he failed. He should have said “enough of this nonsense, we have bigger problems, like Obama.”

It wasn’t very exciting, but I thought Newt won. I’m not sure Gingrich really took a step forward, but Romney kind of made himself look disparate.

That’s my opinion. Thoughts?

Also, did you catch Romney flip flop on the Dream Act. That was funny.

These are not debates. They are question and answer sessions with some responses between the candidates.

There have been too many of them already, they have become trite, tedious and repetitive.

There is such a thing as too much publicity and there certainly is such a thing as too much bad publicity with the liberal press as puppeteers.

I thought Newt won too. Romney came across as petulant. “Are you finished?” would have been a perfect response.

He’ll be more prepared for the Mittens attacks next time..would bet on it.
