Bill quotes Joe Paterno as saying he had never dealt with anything like this and didn't know what to do. Bill then condemns him for being afraid. But Bill won't say what Joe fears. Bill compares this to the scandal in the Roman Catholic Church. Bill then condemns the bishops for being afraid. But Bill won't say what the bishops fear. Bill himself is afraid: he doesn't dare mention "Homosexual."

In all the reporting I've read on the Penn State scandal, none of the media dares mention that it is about Homosexuality. Some gay men rationalize raping boys as justified because if gay men feel oriented toward boys, they cannot be expected to control their behavior. Bill is afraid to say that NAMBLA's man-boy love is morally wrong.
What does Bill think will happen to him if he tells the truth?

Paterno blew it and some of you just don’t want to face reality. O’Reilly said he like Joe and was disappointed in the way he handled the situation a month ago. Now you are starting to look stupid trying to defend the man. I liked Joe myself but he dug his own grave (no pun intended). What if it was your son...hey Joe I approve.you did the right thing by hiding the truth to protect a friend and Penn State, way to go. right? puts a different perspective on it doesn’t it.
I’m not defended Joe. Nitwits like BOR and those that are defending him are cowards to wait until the guy is on his death bed or dead. I have a hard time taking Bill O’Reilly seriously considering he has an obsession with Lady Gaga, strippers, porn stars, and other bimbos and never wastes an opportunity to feature them (with video) on his show and call it “news.” I can see why his wife has supposedly left him. You would think he would steer clear of this type of garbage and not promote these characters since his sexual harassment settlement a few years ago. It makes him look guilty of the charges. He must spend HOURS in his office deciding which bimbo to feature each night.
Isn’t this the guy that got Sued for Sexual Harrassment by his own Employees and Staff, Cheated on his WIFE AND KIDS, And hired a private investigator to threaten and intimidate his Wife during the Divorce?? What a piece of work this lying scumbag has turned out to be. All of these are considered Attributes if you work in the MEDIA.

No one can truly know Paterno’s motivations except Joe Paterno and God.
I tend to lean away from the “financial” aspect. I truly do not believe he was motivated by money.
