NEWT CAN DO IT
Cindy Kay | Cindy Kay

Posted on 01/26/2012 3:55:49 AM PST by Cindy of Nashville

Make it simple. Imagine we are all in a game. Newt is the only player on our team. The other team consists of the liberal Democrats, establishment Republicans, the main stream media, and some jealous talk show guys. The object of the game is to have the ball. A ball that belongs to the American people and has been taken away from us. The ball is "POWER". Newt's opponents have the ball now and are making the rules. They are doing everything they can to tackle and injure Newt because they know if he gets his hands on the ball he will give it back to the people.

Good morning!

Good analogy. I’ve said the same thing many times. Newt is fighting everyone. Yet, if Santorum drops out, the game is over, Newt wins...but Santorum will stay in for one more match.

I pray that the polls will hold and Newt will win big...and more people will listen...and the more you listen the more you learn about the man.

He mirrors my life, my ideals, my dreams. He jumps us into what we could have been and to where we need to be, and that scares the HELL out of everyone who is not truly American in spirit.

Each and everyone of us are in this country because some ancestor of ours had the guts to get on a boat or whatever to come here. It’s in our genes. It’s in our blood.

Obama brings the worst out of us. It’s no surprise when you think that half of him is a foreigner who hated this country. ROmney is purely in the tank for himself and a groom of the Mormon church for 35 years. Their great white hope.

Our candidates are good people, even Romney, but his consultants have led him astray. The Ann Coulters, too, have amazed us in their unwillingness to give Newt a chance. They can’t find not one thing...not one idea or thought....or sentence from his mouth to agree with?

Yes, it is the people. We the people who will see Newt through this. I just pray for his safety.

If you haven’t listened to his speech at Cocoa yesterday on the space program, you must. It will bring tears to your eyes.

You are "preaching to the choir", Ms. Cindy.

Here's how it's gonna go.

On the right, there will be Newt supports who will vote "for" him;
there are those on the right who, holding their collective nose, will vote "against" the stain on the left,
And there are those on the right who, if Newt is the candidate, simply will not vote.

In summary, there will be less votes if Newt is the candidate, than there MIGHT be otherwise.

On the left - and you know the voting blocks there, correct - they will see a loud mouthed old white man in the exact same vein (except for the "loud mouth") as they saw in '08, and Newt doesn't have a VP candidate to choose with the "star power" of the last one.

In summary, the stain controls ALL the votes on the left - solidly and completely. There are no "voter minds" left in this group to be changed.

That leaves the so-called "independents". Tho I doubt at this point there are many of these folks left who have truly "not made up their minds" at this point.

In '08, the vote totals were 59 million for the stain, and 49 million for mcloser.

If Newt is the candidate, you can look for about the same count.

And we're in for another four years of the stain, which this country in it's current state, will not survive.

I liked it.

“Newt is the only player on our team.”

Except for some rich guy from Vegas.

Maybe we need to get off the sidelines.

I don’t have anything against Newt, but — like Obama — he says things under the assumption that his listeners are not very bright. He criticizes Romney for stocks held in a “blind trust”, assuming that the listener is not bright enough to know what “blind” means. He says he got $1.6 million for doing “history” for a corporation, assuming that the listener is not bright enough to know that companies do not pay bucks like that for “history”. Also, Folks who believe that he was a “Reagan conservative” have short memories.

Newt has a lot of flaws and carries a lot of baggages, such as: Cheated on his wife(s), did not get along with Ronald Reagan for whatever reason, is hard to work with, made some very bad decisions, overweight, can be a god awful prick, only interested in himself, etc. But I trust him more with this country than I do Mitt Romney.

I did not like John McCain but that is who the establishment Republicans put in as our candidate and I voted for him. Social Liberal Republicans cannot win.

I wish Ron Paul was not so crazy on some of his issues.

did not get along with Ronald Reagan for whatever reason

Nancy Reagan said years ago that Ronald Reagan handed the torch to Newt Gingrich.

Apparently, the source saying they didn't get along is not quite up to speed.

If Romney is the candidate you can look for a 49-state sweep for Obama (Utah will go with Mitt). In this economy people will not vote for the guy who “likes to fire people” and has a track record of doing so as he bankrupted companies and walked away with millions in assets from them.

Absolutely not true that he only cares about himself. He was a warrior for conservatism throughout his career, from fighting with Dole and Bush Sr. to not raise taxes and keep the military strong to creating the Contract with America and stopping Bill Clinton’s left-wing agenda in its tracks. He was consistently fighting for everything we all believe the country needs. Mitt Romney and his surrogates like Drudge and Ann Coulter are trying to win with bald-faced lies, plain and simple.

Let me start by saying that I DO NOT CARE who the rinos pick as their candidate. In my eyes, there is not one acceptible candidate in the bunch!

That said, I do not know if your opinion will hold should rom-knee win the nomination. It will all depend - I suppose - on how many right wingers are for the guy, hold their nose and vote for him anyway, or - like myself - go to the polls and choose AGAINST the current regime.

As to how many will vote for a guy who "likes to fire people" (even tho the statement was taken completely out of context by the left wing media (fox/msm/druge), we'll just have to wait and see.

It is my GUESS, that over 95% of the legal voters in this country have already made up their minds whether or not to vote for the current regime and the stain that leads it. And I know of nothing that is going to change any minds between now and November.

What’s the deal with the polls? One of the ones CNN is spouting showed a HUGE swing to Romney in the Monday/Tuesday samples.
