There’s a short excerpt of a 1988 C-SPAN video purportedly showing Newt Gingrich bashing Reagan when talking about how Bush, Sr. should run. As I suspected, it’s edited to give a false impression. What you don’t see is immediately after when Gingrich praises Reaganism and the Reagan platform. If you can’t watch it all, it begins at about 2:30 in to confirm it’s the same segment. It’s the minute or two afterward you also need to hear to understand that Newt wasn’t bashing Reagan at all.

Haha, I remember Jonah saying that a few days ago. The only "risk" I can see is the constant barrage of negative media and news coverage that will be released against Newt when he's nominated. But God love him, no one stands up to the Democrat slime machine like Newt. The worst part of his Speakership was when our own side started saying he brought too much negativity to the party and wasn't worth all the time required to defend him. Just like they did with Sarah.

The Democrats NEVER do that. They rallied around Kennedy, Clinton, Charlie Rangel, Barney Frank or any of the despicable people they manage to get elected.

Rush is in the tank for Santorum

He only appears to tilt towards Santorum sometimes because it's safe for him to do. Santorum is considered to be a conservative by many but has no chance to win the nomination. If Rush is in the tank for anybody at this point it's Newt Gingrich. He's trying not to make it obvious.

There's NO way Rush would choose Romney over Newt (at this point).

Now if some porn video comes out with Newt and Pelosi or Newt saying something on tape such as "I cannot believe everybody including Rush Limbaugh actually buy everything I say. If only they knew I voted for Clinton both elections" or something devastating... Rush likes Newt. I can tell.

How can anybody like Drudge, Ann Coulter or the list of others actually believe that Romney is more conservative than Newt is baffling to me. They are putting party above all. That's all I can say.

I think Coulter is the only one who actually said that, but she can't possibly believe it. Even the RINO types pretty much snicker at her whenever she says it. They are either bought off or they agree with Romney on some secret non-conservative agenda he might have like appointing Supreme Court justices who will institute gay marriage.

I’ve listened to Rush religiously for forever, but I had to stop listening today because he made me so angry. When it comes to Newt, it is like Rush has turrets. He just blurts out anything without bothering to check them out fist. I have been so disappointed in AM Radio. Nobody has stepped to endorse Newt. It’s only our freedom that is in jeopardy. Drudge Report had to be deleted from my browser and I stopped listening to G Beck and canceled GBTV when he went scorched Earth against Newt a couple months ago.

I heard a little bit of what Rush said, he seemed to present it as factual.

He also said he had no recollection of Newt being anti-Reagan in that time frame. Rather, just the opposite, that Newt and some others were in the habit of making speeches in favor of Reaganism to an empty House chamber, in order to feed the C-SPAN cameras.

Actually, I’ve been following Newt Gingrich online for more than 5 years. He makes lots of videos where he talks policy on YouTube. He’s got hundreds (if no thousands) of hours on YouTube.

During the 2008 election I was wishing Newt would get in but people would post to me “too much bagage”.

I’m actually happy he’s where he is now. I hate to think how much baggage Obama has with all he’s hiding. All we can do is imagine what he may have in his history.

What we do know is that Obama was homeless in NYC and a druggie. I even read that he really has no law license and always worked under his wife’s. Obama’s a fraud and I think he’s a much bigger fraud than we all could imagine.
