There’s a short excerpt of a 1988 C-SPAN video purportedly showing Newt Gingrich bashing Reagan when talking about how Bush, Sr. should run. As I suspected, it’s edited to give a false impression. What you don’t see is immediately after when Gingrich praises Reaganism and the Reagan platform. If you can’t watch it all, it begins at about 2:30 in to confirm it’s the same segment. It’s the minute or two afterward you also need to hear to understand that Newt wasn’t bashing Reagan at all.

well you might have noticed but the word establishment has been used for years on here and even though you have not been on that long here I’m sure you have noticed that right?
As for the establishment, well Romney and co are the establishment it is the elitist establishment and they are out to keep their power, money and corruption and looking forward to being invited to their cocktail parties . The likes of Hannity ,Coulter, Rove, Hume , Perino etc can’;t wait to get back in there.
You see us silly little conservatives are not supposed to run and vote against the establishment guy we are supposed to shut up and vote as they say how but they see their time coming to an end and that is why they will send their trolls on here, get their talking heads on TV and promise some of talk radio invitations etc once they get power.

The other night while having drinks with some prominent conservatives, I said I thought there was a significant chance that Gingrich will not only win the nomination but that he might be the next president. Going by their expressions, I might as well have said I had put a slow-acting poison in their cocktails.

Is it just my imagination or did Rush spend more time today repeating gossip of Newt than he did attacking Romney or Obama? Getting tired of the same old same old from Rush lately...been listening less and it doesn’t change when I do listen...He seems to be more republican and conservative lately along with other “conservatives”, Coulter, et all
