Just said that Drudge has done a lot of great things and that he isn’t taking sides. I don’t think there is anything that can be said to justify the position that Drudge is a neutral party.

No doubt. On Oct 5, 2011 the day Sarah called into Mark's show to announce she is not running, sometime later during his show, Mark alluded to receiving an IM from Matt saying it's a sad day for America (in regards to Sarah not running).
Mark may be stating this for Matt's benefit, but it is apparent Matt is in the bag for Mitt.
We should be thanking Drudge. The sooner this stuff gets out the better. The last thing we want is a barrage of this stuff in October... Now there’s time to deal with it.

What “stuff?” On the day of the debate he linked to a 20-year-old video clip that was posted on YouTube in December that basically cut Newt off in mid-sentence and put a false headline on it. That isn’t “news” of any sort. It could be done at any time about any candidate. There’s no excuse for linking to someone’s cheap attempt at propaganda. If he was a real reporter, he would have found the full, unedited video and linked to that instead. Besides, we’re not so much arguing that he’s posting anti-Newt stuff, it’s that he wasn’t posting any negatives on Romney at all. Did he ever link to the DNC ad that clipped Romney as saying “I like being able to fire people?”
We just got Mark’s answer-—I posted this thread on his Facebook page and he promptly deleted it.

Drudge has never been said to particularly relish his homosexuality or embrace it; in fact his gay romantic/sexual side has been described (when alleged) as conflicted and awkward.
David Brock, the former right-wing writer, wrote in his memoir Blinded by the Right about a “scary” date in which Drudge, after bringing Brock flowers and navigating the Santa Monica gay strip “like a pro,” stepped on a competing suitor’s foot “really hard” (in Drudge’s purported words) in a nightclub to scare him away from Brock.
Alec Baldwin stated that Drudge made an advance on him in an ABC Studios hallway, a proposition that had “kind of a creepy quality to it.”
Drudge denied he was gay to the Miami New Times in 2001, even as he launched into a disquisition on (as the New Times put it) “the reigning DJ king of gay circuit parties” and summarized his nightlife thusly: “I go to straight bars, I go to gay bars.”

It’s not an organized movement, but I have, and so have many others I know, gone through our contact books, and we are tag teaming Drudge, and sending links of his articles out by email or facebook, so people don’t have to give him a hit on his website... Matt loves quoting his number of hits each month...
There is an all out effort to damage Newt at a critical point. Drudge is the tip of the spear.

Well Mark just got done verbally beating the snot out of those who are trying to defend Romneycare.
All I know is that right now Levin is absolutely trashing Romney care. He just said that Romney doesn’t want to talk about Obamacare but instead wants to focus on Gingrich not being a Reaganite, which he says, it’s absolutely ridiculous.
Whether or not Drudge is taking sides is a question to be determined by watching what Drudge does.
Not by listening to statements made by people who know him personally.
Yeah, if you even look at the stories about the wives, it’s pretty apparent who Drudge favors.
Why doesn’t Matt Dregs defend himself?
He is aware of the controversy. He should have the courage of his convictions and not use double-speak dressed up as news bulletins.
