Why Floridians MUST vote for Newt Gingrich on Tuesday

During the late 1950's, Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev traveled to New York City and checked in to the Waldorf=Astoria Hotel. Vice-President Richard Nixon was assigned the task of escorting Khrushchev throughout Gotham.

Upon greeting Khrushchev in the lobby of the Waldorf, the Soviet Premier declared to Nixon, "I want to meet this incredible man." Nixon, slightly taken aback by Khrushchev's earnestness replied, "What man is this Mr. Premier?' Khrushchev continued, "I want to meet this incredible man who provides bread to New York City every morning." Vice-President Nixon responded with a slight shrug of the shoulders and then said, "Well, there is no one man who provides bread to New York City." Khrushchev, his eyes narrowing in suspicion, accusatorialy asked Nixon, "Then how does bread get distributed every morning, everywhere throughout New York City?" Nixon's response? "It just does."

What Khrushchev had discovered was the operation of the unfettered free-market: The invisible hand of free association with its attendant free exchange of goods, services, and ideas amongst a free people.

It must have seemed like magic to him.

Contrast this situation with that which in just a few short years would transpire on the island of Cuba. A tranquil tropical paradise that exported world-class quality products like sugar, rum and cigars; highlighted by breath-taking beaches and the finest in tourist amenities, quickly descended into a Marxist-Leninist hellhole of despair.

A bearded devil by the name of Fidel Castro would ruthlessly crush the dreams and aspirations of millions of Cuban nationals by expropriating the work of generations and, by using the instruments of tyranny, inflict all of the horrors of communism on the Cuban people. Murder, theft and imprisonment were the first of the many rotten fruits of a totalitarian harvest reaped by Castro without even a whisper of a just cause.

Furthermore, in direct violation of the Monroe Doctrine, Fidel Castro would export this diabolical despotism to Ethiopia, Angola and Mozambique, as well as Nicaragua, Venezuela, and Bolivia in our own hemisphere. All of this was accomplished with the knowing patronage of the Soviet Union.

Ever since the Kennedy Brothers refused to provide air support for the Bay of Pigs invasion, Castro and his communist Cuba has been a thorn in the side of Florida. Floridians have an opportunity to apply a salvic balm to this festering wound and to say, finally, no more.

There is only one man with the courage and the wisdom to redress historic wrongs and root out the tyranny which has infected that most unhappy and imprisoned island.

Newt Gingrich is that man.

The voters of Florida have a once in a lifetime chance to place a Commander-in-Chief in the White House who will give teeth to the Monroe Doctrine and rid the Western Hemisphere of the noxious Castro once and for all.

The next state to be admitted to the Great Republic will not be a Puerto Rico or an American base on the moon. It will be a free and prosperous Cuba and there will not be any bread czars there either.

May the intercession of Saint Anthony Mary Claret be with the voters of Florida on Tuesday.

May God FREE the people of Cuba.

And may God richly bless We The People of the United States of America.

“Musicman” said it better than I could, so I stole his line. (thanks)

The “establishment” wants Romney so they can run Jeb Bush in 2016!

“With the Tea Party out of the way of BOTH parties for 2012 and 2016, Romney out of the way for 2012 AND 2016, the dems TOTALLY despised after 8 years of Obama, Rove and “the boys” can run Jeb for 2016 with NOBODY in their way.”

OK, question for all the Newt-or-Bust people. What Republican nominees in the history or the Republican Party would you have supported, other than Reagan and Goldwater? Is it true that none of them would have measured up? What does that say about your grasp of reality?

The U.S., as a truly capitalistic country, is finished. There are way too many “politically ignorant” voters who do vote, and there are way too many “politically stupid” voters who do vote. Plus, the left, from both major political parties, does all that they can do to win elections through: MSM bias, political indoctrination in schools, activist judges, cheating (dead votes, voters voting from more than one location, illegal immigrants who vote, criminals who vote,...), the left taking non-electable jobs where they can, successfully, influence how people vote: teachers, professors, social workers, psychologists, actors, actresses, movie directors, journalists, reporters, leftist religious leaders, all other jobs in the entertainment world, all other MSM jobs, other jobs in education, social work, psychology, human services fields, activist judges (including, but not limited to places where people can’t vote for/against judges), labor union administrative jobs/labor union highest level leader jobs, trial lawyers, leftist think tank jobs,...

I voted for the mushies (Dole, McCain)... but... they lost. Reagan, not a mushie... won, and won Big. Lesson: choose clarity over mushiness.

All of them, except for Herbert Hoover. In 2008, I voted for Sarah Palin. McCain was also on the ticket, so I had no choice about him.

I first voted in 1964 and voted for and supported the Republican ticket then and every election since, be it a presidential election or not. My wife and I have neither one missed an election or primary and have never voted for a democrat, we considered ourselves to be Conservative Republicans and now consider ourselves to be Tea Party Conservative Republicans. We have had to hold our noses many elections but have not only voted for but supported the Republican nominees. Six weeks ago I had a compleatly different view of Romney than I have today and it will take an extroidinary effort that I’m not sure I’m capable of to vote Romney if he were to win the nomination and it’s not even his like of Conseversatism, It’s his and his compatriots and surrogates open and bald face lies. If they will go to this extent to LIE about Newt why would they hesitate to lie to the American people either before or after the election?

Another 4 years of the Muslim Marxist and Jeb wont be able to run for dogcatcher. There wont be a United States of America in 2016 unless we get rid of Obama in 2012. That means voting for the best candidate we can get (either Romney or Gingrich I dont care which) and not staying home because we didn’t get the candidate we dreamed about.

Most of us Newt supporters are people who actually think, evaluate and conclude.

As for myself, I would have supported Abraham Lincoln. I also would have supported Calvin Coolidge, Harry Truman (see, we thinkers can go beyond party labels), Dwight Eisenhower and, of course, The Gipper. All of them either smaller government advocates or, at least, laissez faire.

So what’s your point, dinoparty?

You're correct. History proves that "none have measured up." If they had:

1. The teachers' union and "progressive" grasp and control of education in America would have been stopped, and generations of American citizens would have been taught the ideas of their Declaration of Independence and Constitution. Instead, their textbooks were censored of ideas about God, family, free enterprise, and Creator-endowed individual rights to property and opportunity.

2. The President would have led a move for term limits, to be put in place to assure that Congress and Senate members would return home to live under the laws, regulations and restrictions they inflicted on the rest of the citizenry.

3. The federal payroll would have been reduced, federal spending would have been limited to purposes authorized by the Constitution, and deficits would only be incurred for national defense and quickly reduced when emergencies were over.

4. Future generations would not have debt laid on them before they were born.

5. Judges appointed by the Executive Branch would be selected by the likelihood (based on previous writings and experience) that they would interpret the Constitution in accordance with the ideas of the men who framed it for the protection of "the People's" liberty.

Now, as to this election, a "ruler" (didn't Valerie Jarrett tell us that Obama would be "able to rule on day one"?)must be replaced by a President who understands, can explain to citizens, is devoted to, and respects the Constitution's limitations on power and its restrictions on his and Congress's power to "take" "the People's" earnings.

Gingrich is the candidate who has studied history and understands both the ideas of freedom and the totalitarian ideas of "redistribution" and government control, combined with the ability to explain the stark difference in "consequences" of those two ideologies.

Romney has lived and worked and been successful in the Founders' system, but he displays zero understanding of how to do battle with a committed ideologue who understands and can mask the counterfeit ideas he imposes through his policies.

More to the point, they will lie ABOUT the American People instead of representing us (insert picture of Eric Holder here).

I’m sure your state GOP and national would appreciate hearing from you. Send them two pennies and a copy of this comment. ...or just email the comment.

Let them know that you are not alone Right now I can name ten people who have said the same type of thing in the past week.

Romney may win Florida but at what cost to the party and the fall election.

I know several people have filled ears full when they call for donations.

Just this cycle, I’d have taken Cain, Bachmann or Palin. I could find some more if I’d give it more thought. You know, I’d give Clinton another term if I had to choose between him and Romney.
