Umm, I didn’t write the article, someone at Ass. Press did. And it won’t matter if what he said “is taken out of context” because Team Obama has almost certainly already made an attack ad from the video. Guess his taking Newt out of context since Iowa and using his flunkies to attack Sarah Palin since 2008 just bit him in the keister, huh? I worked for the Haig campaign in 1987-88. How many times do you think I heard General Haig’s “I’m in charge” quote during that time? Tough t**ty.

It shows his basic belief that the ‘safety net’ is to be kept/expanded to take care of the ‘very poor’ instead of helping them help themselves by earning paychecks! Romney is another food-stamp president if elected! A pres enacts policies to help all people, not just a select group of people. Romney will let the Dem take care of the ‘very poor’ with the ‘safety nets’(this is what he says!) He will help the middle class only. Who is to say he is not going to rob it from the rich whom he is ‘not worried about’ to help the ‘middle class’? A pres is supposed to discriminate against/pick on the ‘rich’?

Romney just came out today for automatic increases to the minimum wage,. Romney is running as fast as he can back to the left where his true beliefs lie

Seriously where have all you Romney lovers come from all of a sudden? Did the Mormon church send out an order to invade all the Internet message boards or something?

My point was simply that his main point was that he was concerned with the 95% of Americans who are struggling. I think that is good.

I understand that MSM and the Obama Administration will take statements out of context as well as spread outright lies.

It sounds like you want this out of context quote to damage Romney.

Then you are obtuse. Do you seriously think I want Mr. Obama to have another term? I'm not the one who gave this ammunition to the Democrats, Willard did that! Blaming me for an Associated Press story is silly.

Romney lover? I HATE MYTH!!!!

But, I am ABO in the general. The GOP could run Son of Sam or Joran Vandersloot or Bernie Madoff and I would support that over obama.

I don’t care for Mitt, but this was taken way out of context. The MSM jumped the gun, they were supposed to withhold this ridiculous style or criticism until AFTER he got the nomination, but it sure portends the things to come.

“you are obtuse”

You don’t need to sink to name calling. I didn’t blame you for anything. I’m tired of trying to make the same simple point over and over again.

You don’t like Romney. I get it. I don’t really like him either. I wasn’t personally attacking you, I was just making one simple point.

I despise Willard as much as the next guy but posting this is bull shiite. It is taken out of context and you know it is. This is the crap the media does to all Republicans. Why do we have to do this for them?

"The entire statement was fine. You just took a small part out of context."

And the Democrats are sure to spend $100 million saturating the airwaves with this.

My point was simply that his entire statement was ok. I agree that we should be concerned with the 95% who are struggling.

****

I never said Romney or Republicans should be concerned with the 95% who are struggling. In fact, I don't agree with that statement at all.

Moreover, your view that his entire statement is "ok" is complete gibberish. I understand what Romney meant by his entire statement, but he said it badly. In fact, the articulation of Mitt's point was so woefully poor that it should disqualify him as a politician.

In the end, only 10% of the country (active Romney supporters) will view his comments favorably.

40% of the country (Democrats) will use Romney's comments to bury him with another 25% (independents). And the Democrats will be aided in that effort by the 5% nutjob Paulistas and the remaining 20% (principled conservatives who can't stand Mitt).

In what universe is it "ok" to make an inarticulate comment that is viewed negatively by 90% of the population?

I need to get with the Associated Press about my paychecks, since jmaroneps37 claims that I work there.

.

You're absolutely right ... out of context ...

but still a huge gaffe ... that Axelrod will exploit ruthlessly ...

Do you know why McRomney says "stupid" things like this ?

Because it's REALLY TOUGH trying to take ANYTHING seriously when you have $ 190 million in the bank, you're (supposedly) going to rule a far-away planet someday (as a Celestial God-King) ...

The "Boy-Wimp" Obama will eat McRomney's butt like a peanut-butter sandwich when a pot smoker has the "munchies" ...

and ... THAT .. my friend ... won't be pretty ...

I don't like Romney's policies or now his class warfare...the middle class against the poor.

That aside, Obama is going to paint Romeney as I believe he really is: No different.

Nothing personal, FRiend.
